A warm welcome to all who come to
Hennepin Church today to celebrate
the Easter resurrection. We remember
and relive the testimony of Jesus’
disciples who could not believe their
eyes! Even when they saw, it was so
hard to see Jesus and to know him.
Why? It seemed to good to be true —
that the Roman crucifixion was not
the last Word! Mary’s tears soon dried
up as she came to know a new begin-
ning in life. May your eyes of faith
open wide to all the new beginnings
possible for you, too. The words
spoken this morning are not idle tales.
What could happen if you and I started
to live the love of Christ in all that we
do? It can be an incredibly beautiful
sunrise into a new day and new
life. Thank you for coming. It is an
honor for all of us to worship together
and sing Hallelujah!

April Hunger Offering: Today is the
last Sunday for you to support the
Liberia Integrated Crop and Pest
Management Project (LICPMAP).
LICPMAP requires support to increase
their beehives and for equipment
for harvesting and processing the
honey. LICPMAP needs to increase
the size of their group farm and
needs to purchase more livestock in
order to meet increasing demand in
the community. Your donation is

(in amounts up to $3,000 for one year at a time). All persons will be considered,
but applicants fitting certain criteria will receive strongest consideration. Criteria

Earth Camp
July 25-28
For students who
have completed 1st -
5th grade; limited to
25 participants. Earth
Camp is a four-day, 3-night over-night
camp for elementary students. Camp-
ers learn about our responsibility as
Christians to care for the creation,
explore the great outdoors and to
connect with God in the natural world.
Cost is $170.00 and includes lodging,
meals, transportation, programs and
crafts. Scholarships are available and
