Veritas Services
The Veritas Services are modular and can be deployed independently of each other or can be
bundled to meet the specific needs of individual clients:

Asset Verification
Asset Verification services ensure existence, condition, and identification of fixed and
mobile assets at the time of purchase or lease. Veritas is also able to verify individuals
and companies. Depending on needs of the Veritas client the verification is carried out by
accredited manufacturers, suppliers or accountants or by Veritas investigators, engineers,
security professionals and surveyors.

Asset Register
The Veritas Asset Register is a database of assets owned by financial institutions. Only
asset identification relevant data is stored on the database together with the lease start
and end dates. Access to the database is restricted to verified banks, leasing organisations and
law enforcement agencies.

Asset RF Identification
Veritas uses passive RFID technology to provide hidden asset borne evidence of
ownership and details of the lease or hire contract of each individual asset. Depending
on client requirements RFID chips are read only or programmable with owner and asset details
as required case by case.

Asset GPS Tracking

Veritas Orbis GPS Asset Tracking solutions are available for all types of powered and
unpowered assets. Veritas also supplies personal tracking devices that include alarm
and alert systems, ideal for the security of lone workers and individuals in high risk occupations.
Visibility worldwide is via Google mapping and satellite imagery.

Asset Monitoring
The Veritas Asset Monitoring solution is an automated process that constantly updates
asset location against customer defined geofence, movement and reporting criteria.
Monitoring provides an additional level of comfort when supplying high risk mobile assets, to high
risk clients in high risk geographic areas. Monitoring aids the recovery process in the case of
default.

Mobile and Fixed Asset Recovery

Veritas deploys Asset Recovery Teams to visit the beneficial owners of fixed and mobile
assets for recovery purposes upon default of the loan, mortgage, and lease or hire
agreements.

Debt Recovery Services

Veritas does not rely on call center personnel to recovery debts. Veritas deploys Debt Recovery
Teams to visit the debtors, co-debtors and guarantors (Consumer, SME and Corporate) at their
homes to reschedule debts or recover pledged assets and execute personal guarantees provided
as security for loans.

Veritas Investigations
In difficult and or fraudulent cases Veritas uses investigations teams to support the
debt recovery process. The British investigators, supported by local interpreters and
researches use covert surveillance techniques and the latest equipment to gather
evidence to support the recovery process before and during the legal process.

Legal Services
The Veritas in-house legal team processes all asset and debt recovery files through the
legal recovery process once the Rescheduling and Self Help and Amicable recovery
processes have been exhausted. The legal team collates the information received from the debt
recovery teams and prepares the case file for legal execution. To ensure continuity and prompt
action the Veritas lawyers also represent the Veritas client at court.

Veritas Executor Services

The Veritas Executor Network consists of independent Legal Executors in each Romanian
jurisdiction, that have accepted the Veritas terms of business and the Veritas code of ethics.

Once the recovery file has been prepared by the Veritas legal team the file is assigned to a
member of the Veritas Executor Network is then tasked to pursue the debtor for all monies owed
from the outset executing the debtor for all assets.

Veritas Storage Services

Veritas is able to store your returned or recovered assets at secure storage facilities in
the Bucharest area and at partner sites across Romania. All storage areas are secure
and include hard standing and covered security and are suitable for storage of all mobile
assets as well as machinery and equipment. Veritas provide added value services such as
recovered asset pre-sale inspections and asset condition reports.

Veritas Remarketing Services

The Veritas in-house Remarketing Team manages the client’s returned or recovered
assets and prepares these for remarketing through several international sales
channels. The remarketing team maintains stock records, carries out asset condition
assessments during daily visits to the asset storage facilities. After assessment of an asset the
remarketing team writes up asset condition reports that include all vehicle details, accessory
details, tyre, wheel and roadworthiness details, exception and damage details as well a
photographs of all aspects of the asset and provides the reports to the buyers and clients.
