INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS
MOBILE BILLING ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

Worked on the MOBILE BILLING ACCOUNTING SYSTEM for BSNL

while working at C-DOT, Delhi. The team in which I worked includes one
Coordinate Engineer (guide), three programmers and six trainees. I worked
as trainee. My work includes retrieving data from database, arranging the
data and producing corresponding .xml file and then producing the results in
the .pdf format. This file can be generated dynamically whenever database
is updated.

INVENTORY CONTROL

Created an Inventory control software for the “Avery Dennison” company

in which their complete database(transaction & product information)
maintenance along with record entering for the new transactions depending
on various criterion of organization is being done. The reports are to be
generated. The whole software is completed in short duration using RAD
(Rapid Application Development ) model.

COLLEGE PROJECT DETAILS

Developed a Computer Telephony Integrated E-mail Alerting System. This
project comprises of an E-mail client and gives an alert to the subscribers
about the new e-mail in their mail box through landline telephone based on
certain predefined constraints. The mail client will be monitoring the mail
box continuously and update database accordingly if a new mail is
arrived .This part will be using the Java Mail API.. The telephony module will
be continuously querying the database and if required will dial the phone no.
of that customer through the modem and inform him about the new mail
arrival. This part is implemented using Visual Basic and TAPI(Telephone
API). The project comprises of 4500 lines of code. Design methodology used
is modular and later modules are integrated using bottom-up integration.

Technologies : JDK1.4, Swings, JDBC, Java-Mail API, Visual Basic, Oracle 8.0.
