ABORTION, IS MURDER

The practice is not that of the church

Authority of the Early Church:

Below are some of the records of the Early church on the practice of abortion, I leave you the reader
without doubt that abortion is a practice that's evil and must be shunned by the true Christian !

" Thou shalt not destroy thy conceptions before they are brought forth; nor kill them after they are born."
Barnabas 14:12

" Thou shalt not commit murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not commit sodomy; thou shalt
not commit fornication; thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not practice magic; thou shalt not practice
witchcraft, thou shalt not murder a child by abortion; nor kill a baby after it is born." DIDACHE or
Teaching of the 12 Apostles 11:2

" In our case, ( the Christian case ), murder being once and all forbidden, we may not destroy even the
foetus in the womb, while as yet the human being derives blood from other parts of the body for its
sustenance. To hinder a birth is merely a speedier man - killing; nor does it matter whether you take away
a life that is born, or destroy one that is coming to the birth. That is a man which is going to be one; you
have the fruit already in the seed." Tertullian wrote this during his lifetime ( 160 - 240 A.D. )

" We do not kill, by various means of a perverse art, the human offspring, born according to the designs
of devine providence; for these women who, in order to hide their immorality, use abortive drugs.....
abort at the same time their human feelings." Clement of Alexandria ( 150 - 215 A.D. ) Paedagogus
2.10.96.1.

" Why then dost thou abuse the gift of God, and fight with his laws and follow after what is a curse as if a
blessing, and make the chamber of procreation a chamber for murder, and arm the woman that was
given for child bearing unto slaughter ? " John Chrysostom: in his ( Homily 24 on The Book of Romans ).

" The law, moreover, enjoins us to bring up all our offspring, and forbids women to cause abortion of
what is begotten, or to destroy it afterward; and if any woman appears to have done so, she will be a
murderer of her child, by destroying a living creature, and diminishing human kind." Flavius Josephus
aganist Apion. Written in the 1st cent. A.D.

These documents show that early Christians saw no difference between the killing of the foetus and that
of men. I cannot support abortion on demand, nor the use of any drug to procure such abortion. If
anyone doubt the above record then let him stand against the God of righteousness who commanded, "
THOU SHALT NOT DO MURDER " Exodus 20:13

Today the murder of innocents is taken for granted, with hardly a voice raised in objection to the
practice, yet untold thousands of murders are being carried out around the clock ! God will judge and
require the blood of these at the hands of those who killed them, however let's hear from the foetus.

A WORD FROM THE FOETUS

'I'm warm and feeling safe

as I move around my room
everything is soft and gentle
inside my mother's womb.
I can tell that I am growing
as the time goes by, at pace
I've got little hands and feet
a tiny nose upon my face.
My heart I can hear beating
as the blood pumps through my veins,
I am aware of many things
and, I'm thinking with my brains.
I know the day is coming
when I will laugh and play;
and have a lot of fun
with my friends on my birthday.
What a time I'll have
as I grow up to be
that special kind of person
to that someone who'll love me.

'Oh, I'm feeling pain

is there nowhere I can hide ?
my little hands have been cut off
by the scalpel that's in my side !
my legs are being torn apart
I'm screaming in my blood,
no one seems to hear me
as I drown in the flood.
Help me, oh please help me
they're cutting off my head;
I'll never have a birthday
because my now, I'm dead !'

'There is a gentle voice I hear

that says, 'I love you so'
and arms that hold me really close
a great peace overflows.
I'm not afraid, I've lots of friends
I have a 'brand new' home,
a place of love, joy and peace
I play before God's throne.'

Then a mighty voice does cry,

'Rest child at my Mount
'til my Day of Inquisition;
when someone will give account !!'
