Are you an outcome by chance?
Atheism can be described as the belief that no creator exists,
and that the universe was not brought about by divine
knowledge, will and ability. Although many famous people
have claimed to be atheists or Agnostics throughout history,
they have often been found to be a Minority within their
communities.
On October 16, 2003, Opinion Dynamics Corporation
released a national poll showing that “92 percent of
Americans say they believe in God.” Indeed, a large portion
of mankind affirms some kind of belief in the existence of
God, as this is something that is known to mankind by way
of the natural disposition that God has given mankind to
know instinctively about His existence, and that He was the
cause of their coming to being. Even those few who deny
the existence of God, do so only by covering up this natural
disposition which they were given, allowing pride and
doubt to Dominate their instinctive awareness of their
Creator.
This was the case ofthe Pharaoh who oppressed Moses
(pbuh) and the Children of Israel. Pharaoh not only denied
the existence of Allah, but he also claimed to be theLord of
the worlds. In the final revelation given to mankind, Allah
said:
Then he (Pharaoh) gathered (his people) and called
out,saying, “I am your Lord, Most High.”[79:24]
This statement by Pharaoh was not made out of true
conviction, but rather, out of arrogance:

And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance,
though their souls were convinced thereof: So see what
wasthe end of those who acted corruptly.[27:14]
Pharaoh’s arrogance was swiftly terminated when Allah
parted the sea for Moses (pbuh) and his followers, and
Pharaoh was made to see that he was going to die, and meet
the One whom he denied:
We took the Children of Israel across the sea; Pharaoh and
his hosts followed them in oppression and enmity, till when
drowning overtook him, he said:
“I believe that none has the right to be worshipped but He
in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of
thosewho submit (to His Will in Islam).” Now (you believe)?
And you had disobeyed (Us) before, and were one of the
corrupting evildoers. So this day We shall deliver your
(dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a Sign to
those who come after you. And verily,many among
mankind are heedless of Our Signs.[10:90-92]
Likewise, when faced with life or death situations such as
being in a plane that is about to crash, those who claim to be
agnostics or atheists often find themselves instinctively
supplicating to their Creator to relieve them of their distress.
Their resorting to pray to their Creator only occurs when all
other worldly means have been exhausted, knowing that no
pilot, motor or parachute can help them. This is the time they
lift the veil of self-deceit and turn to their Creator alone,
although it was their Creator who had always been controlling
all the affairs they had previously been relying on.
Say (to them): “Who is it that delivers you from the dark
recesses of land and sea, when you call upon Him in
humility and silent terror: ‘If He only delivers us from these
(dangers), (we vow) we shall truly show our gratitude?’”
Say: “Allah* rescues you from this and from all (other)
distresses, then you worship others besides Him.”[6:63-64]
When these people who claimed they were agnostics or
atheists single out Allah, praying to Him in their dire time
of need, they suddenly come to the realization that He exists,
and that only He can help them. This realization comes about
as a result of their awareness that Allah is the One who
possesses all power and ability as regards all things, that
He is all encompassing, fully acquainted with them, and
controlling their affairs.

Signs of the Creator ’s Existence:
Creator’s
To illustrate this necessary conclusion, a simple analogy
can be drawn. Prosecutors are known to bring forward
evidences such as DNA samples, footprints and fingerprints,
to find people guilty of certain crimes that nobody has
actually witnessed. Just as footprints in the ground point to
the fact that a person had once walked in that place,
examining Allah’s Signs within His creational arrangement
proves conclusively that every single thing that exists within
the universe came about by a Most Wise Creator.
Allah invites mankind to reflect upon the creation and its
sophistication in order to conclude that only a Most Wise
and knowledgeable Creator created them, and that as such,
nothing deserves to be worshipped or servedexcept Him:
Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in
the alternation of night and day, there are indeed Signs for
men of understanding. [3:190]
Shaykh ‘Abdur-Razzaaaqal’Abbaad, a contemporary
academic, said: “Contemplate the night and day; they are
amongst the most amazing Signs of Allah. See how He made
the night for resting and as a covering. It envelops the world
causing the cessation of activities. Animals retire to their
dwellings and the birds to their nests. The souls relax and
take rest from the pains of their labour and fatigue until
when the souls are reposed and have slept, they now look
forward to their livelihood and its disposal. The Splitter of
the morning brings forward the day, His army giving glad
tidings ofthe (coming of) the morning. It vanquishes that
darkness and tears it asunder, unveiling the darkness from
the world. Thereafter, the inhabitants are able to see. The
animals then circulate about the land and proceed to
manage their livelihood and welfare, and the birds depart
from their nests. What a returning and arising, which is so
indicative of Allah’s capability (to assemble the creation)
for the Major Return.
Now ponder over the delicate and fine air that is held captive
between the sky and earth. It is sensed through feeling when
it blows; its substance is felt but its form cannot be seen. It
runs between the sky and earth; the birds circle and fly in it,
swimming with their wings just as the fish of the sea swim
in water. Its sides and gusts collide against each other when
in commotion, just as the waves of the ocean clash.
Consider how Allah forms with this wind, clouds that are
held between the sky and earth. The wind excites the clouds
causing them to rise and become dense. Allah then combines
the clouds together and merges them, and drives them by
the wind to the land in need (of rain).
When they rise and ascend above the land, their water falls
upon it. Allah dispatches the winds whilst the clouds are in
the atmosphere. The winds scatter and separate the clouds
so that they do not harm or destroy what they would if the
water were to descend upon it all at once. Once the land
takes its fill and need, the clouds leave off the land and
disperse. Thus, these clouds water the earth and are carried
by the winds.”
If the sun were any closer to the earth, heat and radiation
would destroy us, and conversely, if the sun were any farther
from the earth, all life would cease. An incredibly complex
equilibrium is constantly maintained in all affairs, and
amazingly, the laws that govern this equilibrium maintain
the same unity throughout the whole universe. Could this
possibly have occurred through a process of random self-
assembly?

Those who believe in chance concede that it is something
which is not by nature ordered. Once this is understood,
the following question must be asked: How could
something that is by nature disordered consistently create
order? This is a scientific impossibility. Hence, it must be
concluded that not only has a Creator created our universe,
but that He is also continually administrating its awe-
inspiring affairs.
A Revealing Illustration
To demonstrate the error of those who deny the existence
of a Creator, one may consider the ordinary example of how
a book comes into being. The existence of a book necessitates
the existence of a publisher who possesses three attributes:
Firstly, this publisher must possess the knowledge of
therequired fields of expertise for the production of this
book.
Secondly, the publisher must possess the will to carry out
such a task by consciously embarking upon this project.
Thirdly, the publisher must possess the ability to carry out
the task of creating the pages, cover and binding of the book
while finishing it with distinction.
Once this is understood, the irrationality of claiming that a
book created itself, or that it came about by mere chance,
becomes apparent. Is it possible to legitimately claim that a
book came about without a publisher, or that this universe
came about without a Creator - solely on the basis that this
publisher or Creator has not been seen?
Accordingly, the Creator stated regarding those whodeny
His existence:
“Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves
the creators?
Or did they create the heavens and the earth?
Nay, they have no firm belief.”[52:35-36]
These verses prove that just as it would be impossible to
claim that a book was created by nothing, it would also be
impossible to claim that mankind was created by nothing.
Likewise, just as it would be impossible to claim that a book
created itself, it would also be impossible to claim that we
created ourselves. Only one other possibility exists; that
mankind and everything in this universe was brought about
by an All-Knowing Creator. It can be concluded that all
things are known to come into existence by designers that
possess the three attributes of knowledge, will and ability
to create. No other conclusion can be drawn, except that our
universe was fashioned by a Creator who possesses the
knowledge, will and ability to create such an incredibly
awe-inspiring formation.
Indeed, certain pieces of evidence left behind at the scene
of a crime are considered incriminating proofs that lead
courts to settle cases in an absolute manner. In the same
way, Allah’s Signs within His creation and the logical
evidences contained within His revelation contain even
more definite proofs that we were created by an All-
Knowing, All-Powerful God.
“And upon the earth are Signs visible to all who have faith
with certainty, just as there are Signs within your own selves.
Will you not then see?” [51:20,21]

Purpose of creation
This is the topic which puzzles each and every human being
at some point of time in his or her life. So come let’s analyze
this puzzle in all possible perspectives and deduce the
answer to it. Before getting into the topic, let’s know the
purpose of knowing the purpose of your creation (i.e.) for
what purpose you should know the purpose of creation or
existence??
This is the topic of utmost importance that each and every
human being should be aware of, if not then he/she becomes
indifferentiable from that of animals. In simple words this
topic is a barrier between humans and animals.
Why is it so?
It is the human nature to do any act with some purpose
behind it irrespective of whatever the act may be, whether
it is a good or bad one, for example: going to school, office
etc has some purpose behind it. On the other hand, doing
evil acts like: killing someone, robbery etc even this has a
purpose, so in short, human has purpose for every act he
does. But he fails even to realize the purpose for which he
exists and thereby he tends to live his life like animals; we
fail to use our 6th sense for where it should be used the most.
It isn’t too late, you can go ahead and deduce the answer to
this question for which you’re created…
How to deduce the answer for this unpredictable puzzle??
There are two ways, but both ways do not lead you to the
answer, rather only one does.
(i) Human intellect (ii) God Himself
Human intellect
Let’s analyze whether a human with his intellect can deduce
the answer to this puzzle? When a human can merely predict
how his own brain, eyes and other parts of his own body
functions, then how can he predict the answer for such a
puzzling question? Even for the sake of argument we agree
that a human intellect can deduce the answer to this,
thenlet’s analyze how the answers will be. As we all know a
human intellect varies from person to person based on his
knowledge, thinking etc.., so as the intellect keeps varying
from person to person, then the answer deduced by each
human will not be the same with regards to another human,
so the answer will not be universal.
Anyways why should the answer be universal? If the answer
isn’t universal then there will be N number of purposes and
this will tend to create chaos. For example: consider a person
setting forth his own purpose is to be a good business man,
sportsperson, to do good to the society etc, this is a positive
side of human intellect. On the other hand, if a person
setsforth the purpose as to be : to become a politician to
earn black money, to become a terrorist etc, this is a negative
side of human intellect.
Once a famous Greek philosopher named Plato, tried to
deduce the answer to this question, at last he ended up
saying that, this world in which we live is not a real world
but just an imaginary world of appearances. So if the purpose
is not universal then there will be chaos and commotion all
around because of the N number of purposes. So from this
we can conclude that a human can’t deduce the answer to
this question.
God alone can answer this
God himself can answer this puzzling question, so this
section gives you a clear view in all different perspectives
of how God answers this.

Here is a strong proof to prove that God alone can answer
this: consider there are 50 students in a class and a teacher
gives them a puzzle to solve and the given puzzle is such
that it has N number of outcomes, but only one is a correct
one. So there will be more than one answers, then each one
will think what he found is correct. On the other hand if the
students are allowed to discuss amongst themselves, even
then the probability of coming to one conclusion is very
less which is 0.02(with respect to this example only) and
more over it need not be the correct answer. So unless the
students get their answers verified to the teacher who gave
them the problem, they will not know which answer is a
correct one. This example even negates the use of human
intellect to answer this puzzle.
Similarly we have to refer to God to know the answer to
this puzzling question. But how to refer to God, how can
God communicate to us and inform us? God has already
communicated to us and informed to us everything which
is of utmost important to tune a human’s life. Let’s
understand this through this example: If we tend to buy a
new machine like TV or washing machine etc.. And we are
seeing this for the first time, so how to operate this? When
we buy this equipment we get a manual with this, which
tells us how to use it and even says that how we shouldn’t
use it in order to avoid that equipment from damage. If a
person says that, no I don’t need any manual to refer, I will
do it by myself, then for sure he will mess up with that
equipment.
Similarly do you think that God created us on the earth and
left us without a manual instructing us how to lead our life
and thereby leaving us in chaos and confusion? No, God
isn’t the lord of confusions, so he has given us a manual to
abide with, so that we tune our lives in a best manner.
For those who claim that a manual isn’t needed to lead our
life, they say we can frame rules by ourselves, then I would
tell them, go back to the topic of human intellect and check
how it would be if a human uses his intellect to decide good
and bad. Let’s analyze this with one more example: Muslims
consider wearing the hijab (veil) as modest, Indians and few
others consider wearing a dress like churidhar as modest,
westerners consider wearing mini-skirts as modest and there
are even countries and people who consider wearing bikini
as modest.
What is modest for few people it is immodest for others.
Now who will decide which is modest? This is what
happens if humans are allowed to choose bad and good
with their own intellect. So we need a manual to lead our
life in a best possible manner, if not you will tend to mess
up with your life without your knowledge as it happens
with the machines as discussed earlier.
“And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires,
truly, theheavens and the earth, and all beings therein
would have been in a stateof confusion and corruption. Nay,
We have brought them their admonition,but they turn away
from their reminder.”[23:71]
Which manual?
By the word manual, what is meant here is the sacred
scriptures. So which one to follow or which one has the
answer to this question. Let’s analyze the scriptures of major
three religions, the Hinduism, Christianity and Islam and
try to deduce the answer to this question.
Hinduism
First let’s understand the word ‘Hindu’, the word Hindu
has geographical significance and used originally to refer

those people who lived in and around Indus valley.
Jawaharlal Nehru in his book, ‘discovery of India’ writes on
pg. 74-75, that the earliest reference to the word ‘Hindu’ can
be traced to a tantric of 8th century C.E, where it means to
refer a group of people and not a follower of a particular
religion. According to swami Vivekananda, the followers
of this religion are referred to as vedantist- followers of
vedas.
The most sacred scriptures of Hinduism are the Vedas, the
Upanishads, bhagvadgita etc. and manusmriti is the law
book of Hinduism. The Vedas classify Hindus into 4
different sects and manusmriti prescribes the work assigned
to the each sect, for example: Brahmins- teachers of Vedas,
sudras- their purpose is to serve the above three sects. So
can this be the purpose of your existence, (i.e.) different
purposes for different people, one of high standards and
other of low standards? I don’t think God can be unjust by
prescribing different standards of purposes and maintaining
double standards amongst the followers.
Christianity
When we pose this question (i.e.) the purpose of your
existence or creation to a knowledgeable Christian, he
would say our purpose is to believe in Jesus Christ and he
will quote, gospel of john 3:16
“God loved the world so much, that He gave His only
begotten son, so whoever believes in him shall have eternal
life”(as per KJV)
(OR)
“God loved the world so much, that He gave His only son,
so whoever believes in him shall have eternal life”(as per
RSV).

 This verse means: to believe that the Jesus died on the cross
to cleanse the sins inherited from Adam. So if this is the
purpose of our creation then what is the purpose for those
before Jesus? Again here double standards shown by God,
by ascribing purpose to the people or generations after
Jesus, but no purpose for those before them.
Islam
In Quran, Allah (swt) says :
“I have created not mankind and jinn except that they
worship me”(51:56) and also
“O mankind worship your Lord who created you and those
before you so that you may become pious”(2:21).
If you analyze the word used here is mankind and it refers
to whole of the mankind, irrespective of which ever
generation or period you may belong to. So if the purpose
is to worship, then does it mean we need to be in worship
by performing acts of worship 24*7, no not at all. In Islam
worship means doing any good act as per Quran and sayings
of prophet is worship for example: sleeping, drinking water
etc…
Conclusion
From the above explanations we tried to cover almost all
possible views from a human perspective in order to deduce
the answer to such a puzzling question, now its left to you
which one to opt for???
Do u want to rely on your own limited intellect?
Or else u would like to follow what the true God has asked
you to follow?

Ingratitude towards God
After knowing the purpose for which you exist (i.e) to
worship the true GOD, now we should get to know who is
that true God? Again from the thinking of humans, many
think that it’s a waste of time in doing this, lets discuss
regarding this with a beautiful example, consider there are
6 children in a family and out of those 6, 5 of them claim a
different individual to be their mother, and the 6th child
obviously will be really puzzled and he wouldn’t know
what to do. If he really has a true love towards his mother,
then he would do almost all possible things on earth to
figure out his true mother, but if he doesn’t care or love his
mother then either he would take any one individual out of
that 5 as his mother blindly or else will completely neglect
it. Now this is the case with we humans, there are so many
religions amidst us and they claim their God to be the true
God. If we have a true love towards God then we should
try to figure out the true God rather than picking up and
following something blindly. Only if a human being is able
to do this only then he can be thankful to the true creator
because of the infinite number of favors bestowed by the
creator towards us, as Allah says:
If you try to count the favors bestowed by Allah then you
can never be able to count them all (14:34).
If you call any other women other than your true mother as
mother and show her all the love which you should be
showing towards your true mother, even though your
mother gave you birth and did so much favors on you, so
would you regard this as just? If not then, how can one do
such a big crime and show ingratitude towards God?
Once one accepts that a Creator exists, who alone, is
continually creating,sustaining and administrating the

universe, it becomes logically obvious that those who
worship and serve the Creator alone, do so in truth. Indeed,
would it be reasonable to affirm the Oneness of the Creator
in His creational and administrative capabilities, and then
proceed to worship and serve others along with Him?
That is because Allah - He is the Truth,and what they
invokebesides Him is falsehood.
And verily, Allah - He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[22:62]
In the final revelation sent down to mankind, the Creator
clarified that He deserves to be worshipped alone, as well as
why this is the case. Similarly, He has also clarified the state
of those who worship others besides Him, such as stars, trees,
idols, angels, prophets, pious people and the like. He has
shown how these objects of worship never created anything
that might justify their being worshipped and served. On the
contrary, they existed for a limited period, and faded as a
subject of creation, bound by thelaws of the Creator.
Furthermore,we are asked whether it is befitting that the
countless gods and goddesses that are raised and then
forgotten about throughout the ages should receive any kind
of devotion after all He has provided for us: Is not He Who
created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you
rain from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful
gardens full of beauty and delight, (better than the gods
you worship)? It is not in your ability to cause the growth
of their trees. Is there any god along with Allah? Nay, but
they are a people who ascribe equals (with Him).
Is not He Who originates creation, and shall thereafter repeat
it, and Who provides for you from heaven and earth, (better
than the gods you worship)? Is there any god along with
Allaah?
Say (to them): “Bring forth your proofs, if you are truthful.”
[27:60-64]

The Greatest Crime Imaginable
People concede that crimes which are perpetrated against
the creation can be great in nature. How much greater then,
must the level of crime be, if it is perpetrated against the
One who brought these forms of creation into being?
How can you disbelieve in Allah? Seeing that you were dead
and He gave you life; then He will cause you to die, then
again will bring you to life (on the Day of Resurrection);
then unto Him you will return.[2:28]
Indeed, it has been clarified in the Qur’an that the greatest
crime someone can commit is to attribute partners to the
One who possesses absolute power and control over the
universe. This crime is perpetrated when people worship
and serve others along with God after He has mercifully
provided for them in uncountable ways.
Consider the miraculous nature of our digestive system and
how it breaks down all the necessary components of food
that we need. Distributing necessary nutrients to our body,
it also expels any harmful wastes. Furthermore, the
intestinal bacteria that exist in our digestive tract constitute
an important part of our immune system, which fights off
disease and infection.
Indeed, the balance and control of the components of every
atom within ourselves not only indicate the existence of a
Creator, but also attest to the great favours He continually
bestows upon us. Mankind tends to be ungrateful for these
favours, either by being unmindful of them, or by refusing
to acknowledge them to begin with.
Do they then believe in falsehood, and deny the favours of
Allah?[16:72]

This shows how much ingratitude we show towards God,
God bestows us with infinite favors and inturn we show
HIM our ingratitude?
Setting up partners with Allah
Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up
with Him (in worship), but He forgives what is less than
that for whom He wills; and whoever sets up partners with
Allah in worship, has indeed invented a tremendous
sin.[4:48]
Many Christians believe that the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) was
part of a trinity, and as such, is worthy of being worshipped
along with God. Christians are not alone in this kind of
deification. Some people who ascribe themselves to Islam
have deified individuals who are of much lesser standing
than Jesus (pbuh). Upon reflection, it can be realized that
none of these individuals, no matter how great or pious they
were, are deserving of any share of worship.
The Messiah (Jesus) son of Mary was no more than a
Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away
before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They both
used to eat food.Look how We make the Signs clear to them,
yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).[5:75]
Not only are these things or people that are worshipped
besides God incapable of creating anything, they cannot even
hear the invocations that people make to them.
Consequently, these objects of worship can neither benefit
them nor harm them.
And who is more astray than he who invokes besides
Allaah, those who will not answer him until the Day of
Resurrection, and are not even aware of their being called
upon?[46:5]

The Doubts of the Polytheists
Polytheists
Another portion of mankind affirms the existence of a
Creator, however, they deem it permissible to worship Him
along with others from amongst the creation. Most often,
they do not believe that these created things they worship
have any share with the Creator in creating, sustaining, and
administrating the affairs of the universe. However, they
usually claim that they only worship these created beings
and things as intercessors, to bring them closer to the Creator:
“And they worship besides Allaah, things that do not harm
them, nor benefit them, while they say, “These are our
intercessors with Allaah.” Say (to them), “Do you inform
Allaah about that which He knows not in the heavens and
the earth?” Glorified and Exalted is He above all which they
associate as partners with Him.”[10:18]
If you were to stop one of these individuals and ask them
who created, sustains, possesses and controls everything
within the universe without exception, they will certainly
say “God.” This confession is the greatest proof they could
possibly bring against themselves, as demonstrated in the
following verse of the Qur’an:
Say (to them): “To whom belongs the earth and all beings
therein, if you know?” They will say, “To Allah.” Say: “Will
you not then remember?” Say: “Who is (the) Lord of the
seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?” They
will say: “Allah.” Say: “Will you not then fear Him?”
Say: “In Whose Hand is the sovereignty and treasures of
everything? And He protects (all), while against whom there
is no protector,if you know?” They will say: “(All that
belongs) to Allah.” Say: “How then are you deluded away
from the truth?” Nay, We have brought them the truth, and
verily, they are liars.[23:84-90]

relies solely upon human intellect, even though rational
people are aware of the fact that human understanding alone
is very limited in scope. It can be observed that human
understanding is constantly changing, relying upon the
established thoughts of a particular era. As such, humanist
thought cannot isolate mankind’s longtermgoals, needs and
interests, as humanism relies solely upon the intellect of
human beings, which is in reality, tremendously limited.
“And of knowledge, you have been given only a little.”
[17:85]
Although Western society has formed an economic and
political system upon which it prides itself, it does not
prepare people for the day they will die and meet their
Creator. Not only does humanist thought fail to prepare
people for their everlasting and more important existence,
it does not even succeed inhelping them understand why
they are here in this life.
They know only the outer (things) of the life of this world;
but of the Hereafter, they are heedless.[30:7]
The acquisition of true knowledge normally leads to
humility when approached in a sincere manner. One who
acquires true knowledge realizes how little they really know.
However, when it is approached in a materialistically
restricted manner, it causes people to become proud. This
flawed approach to seeking knowledge is not something

new, and has precedents from others who have lived in
former ages:
Then when their Messengers came to them with clear proofs,
they exulted in the knowledge (of worldly things) that they
had.[40:83]
When considering these matters, as-Sa’dee explains how it
becomes evident that “mankind is imperfect in nature from
every perspective, and that whatever they have in the way
of knowledge and capability is due to Allaahhaving given
them this knowledge and capability. It should also be
considered that Allaah appointed a limit to mankind’s
knowledge and capability which cannot be extended… Just
as Allaah is the One who created them when they were not
even a thing mentioned, He is also the One who made them
come out from their mothers’ wombs knowing nothing, and
created for them the ability to hear, see and understand,
and the means to acquire knowledge.”
Humanism’s restricted approach to seeking knowledge has
made mankind forgetful that every single piece of
information that any human being has ever perceived came
from an All-Knowing Creator:
They (angels) said: “Glory be unto You; we have no
knowledge exceptwhat You have taught us. Verily, you are
the All-Knower, the All-Wise.”[2:32]

Beyond the obvious contradictions that arise from human
moral legislation, it can be understood that Westerners and
practicing Muslims can agree upon one thing in this case.
One of the reasons why people do not accept that a woman
can simply walk around naked is that it infringes on other
people’s rights. There is a traditional Arabic saying, which
states, “Your freedom ends when the freedom of others
begins.” What this essentially means is that an individual’s
freedom must be halted as soon as it starts to infringe on
someone else’s freedom. For that reason, Westerners feel
offended if they are forced to view somebody else’sprivate
parts in a public place, just as practicing Muslims feel
offended if they areforced to see someone who is scantily
clad.
As a result, it is rightfully understood that this freedom must
be eliminated. Likewise, human legislation legitimately
bans prostitution, as this form of sex for money has, for the
meantime, been deemed immoral. Prostitution is also
considered detrimental to the lives of the young women
who partake in this trade. At the same time, sex for money
is considered legal and acceptable, so long as it is being
made into a movie for others to see. This incredible
contradiction exists because banning pornography would
be interpreted by contemporary minds as being an
infringement of freedom and personal expression.

Hence, Muslims and Westerners both agree that freedom

has its bounds, but one group holds that mankind has the
right to decide in this matter, as according to them, they are
free to do whatever they choose. The other side contradicts
this belief, holding that the Creator is most acquainted with
what is good for His creation, and that He alone has the
right to decide what goes on within His dominion. Only
one of these two positions can be correct.

The principle that people’s freedom should be checked if it

infringes on the rights of others can be observed in practice
in many facets of Western society. For example, relatively
new legislation has been passed in the West that curtails
people’s rights to smoke in public places, as this compels
nonsmokers to smoke, and thus infringes on other’s
freedoms.

Rushdie’s secularist way of thinking maintains that religion
should be for God, meaning; things that are limited to rites
and acts of worship belong to Him, whereas mankind’s
social and political destiny should be left in the hands of
mankind, as if they know better. One of the problems with
this ideology is that those who believe that religion should
be for God and the
State should be for the people, in actuality, often do not
even allow God to interfere in their religious rites and acts
of worship as they claim. Even in the limited sphere they
have set aside for God - being that of religious rites and acts
of worship - these people take it upon themselves to
formulate a religion that they can follow. In reality, they do
not even recognize Allah’s authority to ordain a religion for
them, even if it solely consisted of rites and acts of worship.
In formulating their own religions, they take themselves to
be partners with Allah in His right to legislate a religion
and way of life for the creation.
“Or do they have partners that legislate a religion for them
which Allaah has not given any permission for?”[42:21]
In an article entitled “Church backs raves to bring in young
people,” The Telegraph’s Jonathan Petre reported that the
Church of England “gave its official blessing to alternative
forms of youth worship such as ‘raves in the nave’(is the
annual Christian youth event for young people aged 12 and over)
yesterday as part of its efforts to attract young people into
church.”

The General Synod sanctioned their national youth strategy
by encouraging raves, hoping that this would be a means
of attracting youth back to theChurch. However, this did
not occur without incident. Petre notes that the most
notorious of episodes was the “nine o’clock service” in
Sheffield, which he notes, “was closed down after allegations
of improper relations between the clergyman and female
members of the congregation.”
One wonders how the Anglican Church presumes they
possess the right to devise these “alternative forms of youth
worship,” as if the Creator Himself does not know how He
wills to be worshipped:

These types of unauthorized acts of worship have had their
precedent set by earlier Christians. For example, the Romans
merged the practice of their pagan religion’s celebration of
the sun god into the religion which the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)
had been sent with. To this day, Christians celebrate this
festival, believing that Jesus (pbuh) was born on the 25th of
December.
This is so, even though there is nothing in the Bible that
corroborates such a thing. It is in fact the day of celebration
for Mithras, the Roman sun god, whose festival of the
solstice had traditionally been celebrated on the 25th of
December.
In short, most of those who adhere to secularism claim that
they at least recognize God’s right to legislate or decide in
affairs that are limited to rites of worship. This is what they
say when they claim that the State should be for the people,

and religion for God. However, a closer examination of their
beliefs and actions shows that they often do not even
recognize God’s right to decide in the most basic acts of
worship. In the end, they actually end up believing that the
State should be for the people, as well as religion too.

This life is nothing but a test, as Allah says:
“Who has created death and life that He may test you which
of you is best in deeds” (67:2)
Irrespective of who you are and what you are and what you
have and what you don’t have with you, this life is a test. A
rich person and a poor, a healthy and an ill all are under
test, but just the way they are tested differs, a poor’s patience
is tested and a rich person he is tested with money.
Do you think that you will enter paradise without going
through the trial? Allah has not yet tested you to see who
among you strive hard for His cause and who show patience
in adversity. Qur’an 3: 142
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger,
some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but
give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.(2:155)
The day of judgement that is the life after death is a just
one, this can comprehend to our logical thinking, Consider
that a person has wealth and all influence and he commits
all crimes on the earth and still he isn’t punished, out here
this person is tested with money and power, if he miss uses
it then he will be punished for this in the hereafter. The
creation of this world is just to test humans and this by itself
justifies the upcoming of day of judgement because God is
always just amongst His believers, they will paid off with
just for what they used to do in this world.
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah . Then
every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they
will not be treated unjustly (2:281)

An Unsubstantiated Doubt Sur
Surrrounding the
Coming of The Day of Judgement
For every action a person chooses to take in his or her life,
consequences must necessarily arise from the choices they
make. This is especially so for our eventual resurrection
and judgement in the hereafter. Indeed, the even-tual
occurrence of the Day of Judgement is a principle aspect of
belief according to the revealed scriptures. Contrary to this,
a portion of mankind disbelieves in the coming of the Last
Hour, as has been mentioned in the Qur’an:
And they said: “There is no (other life) but our (present) life
of this world, and never shall we be resurrected.”[6:29]
Interestingly, those who deny the Day of Judgementoften
also affirm the existence of a Creator. Once they affirm that
a Creator exists who created them from nothing, it would
not be possible for them to explain how the Creator cannot
refashion that which He originated before. This materialist
way of thinking is not something new. On the contrary,
Allaah refutes this claim in the Qur’aan, clarifying that
doubting His ability to recreate something He has already
created involves comparing His ability with that of the
creation:
And he puts forth a comparison for Us and forgets his own
creation, saying: “Who will give life to these bones after
they are rotted and have become dust?”
Say (to them):”He will give life to them Who created them
for the first time. And He is the All-Knower of every
creation.”[36:78-79]

These verses show that one who doubts Allah’s capability
to recreate something has actually forgotten about his or
her own origins. Was that per-son not a nonentity before
finding him or herself present in this world? If that is the
case, why would it be difficult for this Creator to refashion
what He had already made before?
Furthermore, when somebody reflects upon the greatness
of what is contained within the heavens and the earth,
surely, this must lead them to realize that these aspects of
creation are much greater in nature than their own creation.
Consequently, there is no legitimate reason to believe in
the existence of a Creator, yet doubt that this same All-
Knowing Creator does not have full knowledge of, or cannot
reassemble what is contained within the graves.
In short, once one has accepted that Allah exists, this belief
necessitates that this Creator would recompense His
servants for their deeds; either good with good, or bad with
bad. States as-Sa’dee: “And He has indeed informed (His
servants) in more than one place (of theQur’aan) that He,
glorified is He (above what they attribute to Him), did not
create the world in vain; rather, (He created them) for the
recompense.”
And warn them (O Muhammad) of the Day of grief and
regrets, when the case will be decided, while (now) they
are in a state of heedlessness, and they believe not.[19:39]

A party will be in Heaven, whilst another party will be in
Hell. This will be the end result of the beliefs and actions
we choose for ourselves while living in this short life.
Say (to them): “O My servants who have transgressed against
themselves;
despair not of the Mercy of Allah: Verily, Allah forgives all
sins.
Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
“And turn in repentance and obedience with true faith to
your Lord and submit to Him (in Islam) before the torment
comes upon you,
(and) then you will not be helped.”
“And follow the best of that which is sent down to you from
your Lord,
efore the torment comes on you suddenly while you
perceive not.”
Lest a person should say: “Alas, (how great is) my regret
that I was undutiful to Allah and that I was among those
who mocked.”
Or (lest) he should say: “If only Allah had guided me,I
would have been among the righteous.”
Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: “If only I
had another chance (to return to the world), then I would
indeed be among those who do good.”
Nay! There came to you My Signs, and you denied them,
and were proud, and were among the disbelievers. And on

the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against
Allah - their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode
for the arrogant?
And Allah will deliver those who are pious and dutiful to
their places of success [Heaven]. Evil shall touch them not,
nor shall they grieve.[39:54-61]
And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups
till, when they reach it, its gates will suddenly be opened.
And its keepers will say,
“Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves,
reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of
the Meeting of this Day of yours?” They will say: “Yes, but
the Word of torment has been justified against the
disbelievers.”
It will be said (to them): “Enter you the gates of Hell, to
abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the
arrogant.”
And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to
Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it, its gates will be
opened and its keepers will say: “Peace be upon you! You
have done well, so enter here to abide therein forever.”
And they will say: “All praise be to Allah Who has fulfilled
His Promise to us and has made us inherit (this) land. We
can dwell in Paradise where we will; how excellent a reward
for those who work (righteousness)!”
And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne from
all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord. And it will
be judged between them in truth. And it will be said,
“All praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.”[39:71-75]

Increasing Crimes and Islamic Solution

Fornication, sex, adultery, illegal sexual intercourse, sexual
abuse is not new in this age. These problems have always
existed and will continue to exist until not confronted face on.
The only remedy to it is that, it should be dealt according to
the Islamic Shariah, yes; I am talking of the divine Islamic Law.
Rape is an abhorrent crime and an abominable sin. This
heinous crime is forbidden not only in Islam but in all
religions, and all people of sound thinking and pure human
nature reject it.
Islam has a clear stance which states that this repugnant
action is haram(forbidden) and imposes a stringent
punishment on the one who commits it. Islam closes the
door to the criminal who wants to commit this crime.
Western studies have shown that most rapists are already
criminals who commit their crimes under the influence of
alcohol and drugs, and they take advantage of the fact that
their victims are walking alone in isolated places or staying
in the house alone. These studies also show that what the
criminals watch on the media and the semi-naked styles of
dress in which women go out also lead to the commission
of this reprehensible crime.
The laws of Islam came to protect women’s honour and
modesty. The Quran commands men and women to lower
their gaze (24:30) and forbids women to wear clothes that
are not modest (24:31, 33:59).
Islam also forbids intermingling of men and women. In
addition, Islam encourages young men and women to marry
early, and many other rulings that close the door before rape
and other crimes. Hence, it comes as no surprise when we
hear or read that most of these crimes occur in permissive

societies, which are looked up to by some Muslims as
examples of civilization and refinement! It is worth
mentioning here that in America, for example, Amnesty
International stated in a 2004 report entitled “Stop Violence
Against Women” that every 90 seconds a woman was raped
during that year. The punishment for rape in Islam is the
same as the punishment for zina(adultery or fornication),
which is stoning if the perpetrator is married, and one
hundred lashes and banishment for one year if he is not
married.
In addition, the rapist is subject to have punishment for
zina, even if the rape was not carried out at knifepoint or
gunpoint. If the use of a weapon was threatened, then he is
a muharib, and is to be subjected to the had punishment
described in the verse in which Allah says The recompense
of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger
and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed
or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off from
opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their
disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the
Hereafter(Al-Ma’idah 5:33).
If you have ever come across or directly communicated
with the rape survivor then only can you understand the
pain they go through. In some cases, the victim survives
while in many, they die! But, what happens to the ones who
survive? They actually curse themselves for their entire life
and die a more painful and tormented death of humility.
For either the curse which eventually grows inside her, or
shame for being looked down upon by many! Let us see
what the Islamic rulings are regarding this matter?
According to Islam, a woman has to be respected and
protected under all circumstances, whether she belongs to
your own nation or to the nation of an enemy, whether she

follows your religion or belongs to some other religion or
has no religion at all.
A Muslim cannot outrage her under any circumstances. All
promiscuous relationships have been forbidden to him,
irrespective of the status or position of the woman, whether
the woman is a willing or an unwilling partner to the act.
The words of the Holy Qur’an in this respect are: “Do not
approach (the bounds of) adultery” (17:32). Heavy
punishment has been prescribed for this crime, and the order
has not been qualified by any conditions. Since the violation
of chastity of a woman is forbidden in Islam, anyone who
perpetrates this crime cannot escape punishment.

then also the trash-can morons cannot control their hormones
from passing out filthy comments in order to lower her

this crime from the very root and educate the people and
make them understand how filthy an act it is!
Surah-an-Nur,24.33:
‘... And do not, in order to gain some of the fleeting pleasures
of this worldly life, coerce your slave women into whoredom
if they are desirous of marriage, and if anyone should coerce
them, then, verily, after they have been compelled (to submit

dispenser of grace (to them).
During the time of the Prophet (saw) punishment was
inflicted on the rapist on the solitary evidence of the woman
who was raped by him. Wa’ilibnHujr reports of an incident
when a woman was raped. Later, when some people came
by, she identified and accused the man of raping her. They
seized him and brought him to Allah’s messenger, who said
to the woman, “Go away, for Allâh has forgiven you,” but
of the man who had raped her, he said, “Stone him to death.”
(Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud)
During the time when Umar (raa) was the Khalifah, a woman
accused his son Abu Shahmah of raping her; she brought
the infant borne of this incident with her to the mosque and
publicly spoke about what had happened. Umar (raa) asked
his son who acknowledged committing the crime and was
duly punished right there and then. There was no
punishment given to the woman. (Rauf)
Islamic legal scholars interpret rape as a crime in the
category of Hiraba. In ‘Fiqh-us-Sunnah’, hiraba is described
as: ‘a single person or group of people causing public
disruption, killing, forcibly taking property or money,
attacking or raping women (hatk al ‘arad), killing cattle, or
disrupting agriculture.’
The famous jurist, IbnHazm, had the widest definition of
hiraba, defining a hiraba offender as: ‘One who puts people
in fear on the road, whether or not with a weapon, at night
or day, in urban areas or in open spaces, in the palace of a
caliph or a mosque, with or without accomplices, in the
desert or in the village, in a large or small city, with one or
more people… making people fear that they’ll be killed, or
have money taken, or be raped (hatk al ‘arad)… whether
the attackers are one or many.”

IT ISN’T so much the possibility of a stranger lurking in the
gullies you by-pass to reach home. There is a far greater
chance it may be your neighbour or teacher. Are girls safe
at home, school, colleges and other public places? The
obvious answer is NO! Rape cases have become very
common in schools and colleges and one such rape-case is
the much hyped principal-student rape case in Hyderabad.
The director of an international school in Hyderabad has
been arrested on charges of raping a Class 11 student from
Mumbai. The victim had become pregnant.
A case of rape and criminal intimidation has been booked
against Mohammed SalahuddinAyub, director of Parkwood
International School at Manneguda near Vikarabad on the
outskirts of Hyderabad.
The 17-year old girl was repeatedly raped and sexually
harassed on gun-point by the director of the school. He
called her at his pent-house with an excuse of a school project
and offered her a glass of cold-drink laced with a dozy drug.
The girl after drinking it went into a state of trauma and
dozed off and after waking up from the sleep-of-her-life,
she found her private parts bleeding. Shocked, she was, got
up crying, not knowing what to do, immediately ran for
safety but the devil did not stop there, he went onto the
extent of threatening her that if she tells about it to anyone
then he would do the same with her younger sister studying
in the same school and will ruin her family. The accused
allegedly clicked photographs and threatened to make them
public if she complained to anyone, investigators said. The
girl told the police that the director used to administer pills
to her to prevent pregnancy and even took her to a doctor
in the city.

Islamic law, with its radical introduction of a woman’s right
to own property as a fundamental right, employs a gender-
egalitarian attitude in this area of jurisprudence. In fact, there
is a hadith specifically directed to transforming the early
Muslim population out of this patriarchal attitude of male
financial compensation for female sexual activity. During
the time of Prophet Muhammad, a young man committed
zina with his employer’s wife. The father of the young man
gave one hundred goats and a maid as compensation to the
employer, who accepted it. When the case was reported to
the Prophet, he ordered the return of the goats and the maid
to the young man’s father and prosecuted the adulterer for
zina (Abu Dawud 1990, 3: Bk. 33, No. 4430; Bukhâri 1985,
8:Bk. 81, Nos. 815, 821, 826).
Early Islam thus established that there should be no
tolerance of the attitude that a woman’s sexual activity is
something to be bartered, pawned, gossiped about, or
owned by the men in her life. Personal responsibility of every
human being for their own actions is a fundamental principle
in Islamic thought.
Many, including some of the locals and other staff of the
school are bent on saying that all these are just a trap to
defame the school and to abandon its growing popularity.
The school is bent on establishing branches all over the
middle-east and some people are also found to say that the
girl is simply making up stories. To all this, I would say,
ALLAH knows best, who is at fault and who is not.
The purpose of my article is not to prove who is right and
who is wrong but i would like to show you how Islam can
help to eradicate this problem from the society. I just want
to ask some questions.....everyday rapes are taking place
all over India, and now India is also crowned as THE RAPE
KINGDOM, then why is media hyping this very particular

case?? Why?? Is it just because a Muslim is involved in this
act and that too the investigation is not yet complete, and
the media is addressing him to be guilty.
This is not the first time when a rape has taken place in
Hyderabad!! I would like to ask where was the media, the
MahilaSamiti, the Human Rights Commission, the
detectives, the police when a group of four youngsters gang-
raped a married woman of 30-years for consecutive 3
hours???? (as per THE HINDUSTAN TIMES)
A similar case is of an American who was raped at her own
house by a stranger in Banjara Hills at Hyderabad.(THE
HINDUSTAN TIMES)
Four city youths on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl and
taking nude photos of the victim and blackmailing her into
keeping quiet about the incident. The girl is a class X student
of a government school in Kothapet and resident of Mohan
Nagar under Saroornagar police station limits.
The boys were identified as Suresh, an inter student, Sanjay,
an MCA student, Shiva, a class X student and Satish,
employed in a private firm. All the four are residents of the
same area as the victim.
I would again ask why, why were these news not as hyped
as the former one discussed in this article. Is it just because
it does not include Muslims?? Why, after living in a
democratic, and a republic country are we suppressed and
our acts hyped?? Why are we looked down upon when we
are hijaab-ed?? Why do the airports double-check seeing
muslims and why do the red button along with the siren
glows on identifying a muslim name?? Until when are we
going to suffer?? Will there be an end to all this or not??

Today, many non-Muslims regard Islam as a religion that
promotes violence, terrorism and war. Unfortunately, they
rely in their view of Islam on the general media, which is
not always accurate in reporting the news. Many media
outlets, such as TV, radio, newspapers and magazines, are
influenced by their investors or owners who have certain
agendas and who want to promote certain values and points
of view. Other media outlets are simply after the “big story”,
in order to make more money and more profits. Others are
simply “followers”, who only gather news from other
sources, re-package it and try to sell it again purely as a
business.
In all these cases, the news reporting is not accurate, but is
driven by ulterior motives or simply by profits. Only very
few media organizations are committed to providing
accurate and true information, regardless of financial gain.
Therefore, people today should be very careful in what they
take from the media.
Before blindly accepting what the TV, radio or newspaper
is reporting, one should think critically about what is being
reported. Is this being reported accurately, or is it being
exaggerated or even completely fabricated? Who are these
people reporting the news, and do they have vested interests
to report the story in a certain way, or are they completely
objective and fair? Critical thinking is very important in all
aspects of life, especially when it comes to accepting the
media reports about important and controversial issues.
Islam is in fact a religion that promotes peace and
understanding among people of all faiths, and it strongly
prohibits all forms of violence and aggression against all
people regardless of their faith or race.
All those who disobey ALLAH (Swt) do not follow any
religion!

Let us ask for guidance from ALLAH (Swt), may He protect
the ummah of committing such acts.
This is the Islamic point of view on rape. We hope that after
reading this article, people will have a clear understanding
that Islam promotes peace and justice, and stands against
aggression and violence.
It is very sad that some people who want to give a wrong
impression of Islam, simply select a few words from the
Qur’an and distort them and put them in the wrong context,
all in order to prove that Islam supports violence. They
ignore all the other verses.
Therefore, we hope that people will be more careful about
what they may hear or read on TV, radio, newspapers,
magazines or on the internet. Make sure that you do not
blindly believe anything that is being said. Try to get both
sides of the story, by listening to all points of view on any
issue before coming to a conclusion.

A point to think about?
Terrorism
As soon as any of us get to hear this word, the next second
what clicks onto the mind of most humans is ‘Islam or
Muslim’. This is the scenario which has been created by the
west, we will get to see later in our section that why it is
said that this scenario is created by west.
With regards to Muslims or Islam spreading terrorism or
hatred is a wrong concept. One of the meanings of the word
Islam is peace. People quote things out of context to prove
that Islam is a religion of terrorism which creates hatredness
and people who hate Islam quote many verses and hadiths
saying that Islam is a religion of terrorism.
Whereas Islam is the only religion which has a verse such
as : “If any one kills an innocent person to spread mischief
in the land, it would be as if he killed all mankind and if
anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all
mankind”(5:32).
All religions speak of peace, but I haven’t come across such
a verse in any scripture. This shows the peace of Islam. If
this is the case then why do we find so many Muslims as
terrorists? Everyone will not have any problem in agreeing
that every religion has black sheeps in it, if at all any Muslim
is a terrorist and he kills innocent people in the name of
Islam then he is never a true Muslim and he will be punished
in the hereafter.The west has created such hype that if any
Muslim walks with a full beard, with his pant above the
ankle, people give him a weird look.The west has made a
scenario such that the basic criteria for a person to be tagged

as terrorist is that he should be a Muslim.This is the strategy
of the west to deprive and degrade Islam.
The biggest terrorist who commits terrorism openly and has
never been tagged as terrorist are the west, the US. They
commit innocent killings in Iraq, Afghanistan and
Palestinian and never you will find the media tagging them
as terrorist nor you will find the media telecasting the
sufferings of those people, the killing of the innocent etc.
The reason behind this is that the media is under the hands
of westerners and they tune them the way they want to. We
aren’t born in places like Afghanistan, Iraq and alike that is
why we are least bothered of it, isn’t it so? Is there any law
to tag people like this as ‘terrorist’ and punish them?
Hype of media
Every time when ever any blast occurs the next second you
will find the bottom line of almost all news channels reading
as “suspected Let, Taliban etc”. But later in many cases it
has been proved that it hasn’t been the case (to know more
about Taliban look out for videos of Yvonne ridley an award
winning BBC journalist).
from western articles it is Islam. So in order to stop this the
west tries its best to deprive and degrade Islam.
And Allah says: “They were plotting and Allah too was
plotting and Allah is the best of those who plot”(8:30)
This doesn’t stop people getting into the folds of Islam,
there are many famous personalities who accepted Islam
recently, people like Michael Jackson, Yvonne ridley, Lauren
booth(cousin of tony blair), many rappers from the west and
many more. These aren’t common people, they are very
famous personalities, why didn’t this come in media? This
shows what media is upto.
So as the article’s title says, ’A point to think about’, everyone
needs to give a thought that, the most mocked religion in
the world and the fastest growing religion in the world, both
is Islam. Isn’t it strange? Give a thought to it.

So the media gives such a big hype in the beginning that

almost every lay man and also learned men tends to believe
that the blast was carried out by such Muslim outfits. Later
when it’s disproved after many years such as in the mecca
masjid (hyderabad) case and few other cases with regards
to India, so at this juncture you would hardly find the news
later claiming that the attacks weren’t carried out by so called
Muslim outfits. So the damage is already done in the name
“suspect”. This is how the west uses the media to deprive
the name of Islam and Muslims.

Why does the west hate Islam and Muslims? The simple
reason is that the fastest growing religion as per many stats
