supported by IGATE. This is the one of the best core banking solution operating the ING VYSYA Bank
successfully. Since different persons use this application, security features are provided so that only
authorized users can access the package for their relevant work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As Oracle DBA, I am responsible for Installation and Configuration of Databases, Creating Standby Database
for Disaster Recovery.

 Handling day-to-day activities.

 For monitoring of critical errors in alert log on time base. Performed routine checks of space utilization.
Extended Table spaces by resizing/adding datafiles when needed.

 Monitoring space utilization, resizing and adding datafiles to Tablespaces when needed.

 Configured DATA GUARD [Physical Standby database] for the Production database.

 Monitoring replication of Archive log files from Production to DR Site.

 Experience in upgrading the databases from (9i to 10g).

 Configured database to Archive log mode.
