Keeping in view – multiple number of requests coming from Colleges and Campus –
Owners, Principals and TPO’S, we have open-mind to represent / build connectivity with
corporate for Campus Placements / Campus Recruitments for Students of 2012

Campus placement facilitation / activity to represent with corporate / industry for

2011 graduating batch (this year May, June, July and August – i.e. 2011year),
College management has to conclude all commercials on or before 10th May 2011,
along with Indian Rupees 3 lakhs advance.

Campus Recruitment (or) Campus Hiring: - Points need to be noted, issues which
are to be addressed - Proposal.

Top – 200 Major Companies into Software and IT Domain – which offer 3 Lakhs Per
Annum Package for Fresher’s being hired / recruited does have practice and procedure
for validation, and without validation they do not visit any campus.
Caution note: If any Campus confirms and conveys that as soon as it is established
respective college – that few companies listed among Top 200 Companies are walking–
in for conducting drive, then there is referral or strong support from very Senior
Hierarchy for that particular college, however when change occurs in the
organization even campus hiring / campus recruitment would halt. Since Campus /
College does not have regular validation with respective company. Hence validation is
strongly recommended.

Validation process requires nothing less than 1 year hard work continuously, that
too mapping all relevant departments of the Company inclusive of coordinating with HR
Offices located primarily in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Most amazing personality cannot cover more than 30 to 32 companies in year, since in
1 year - 20 visits to each company ‘door’ visits yield’s just 5 personal meetings with
that respective company HR Team. (In a year working days are roughly 218. 20
companies X 10 Visits = 200 days time consumed). Result / Yield – 3 to 4 companies.

Average per day ‘on tour’ running costs are estimated is – Rs 5,400 per day – in
break up - Rs 1600 to 1800 Rs per night room, 1200+ for Taxi, Food, Beverages
and misc expenditure. Colleges have to market themselves to pitch companies.

Now the point is whether colleges would like to shell out Rs 10 Lakhs per annum
for facilitating / creating employment with consistency, in larger interest of
students pursuing under-graduation? Campus Placement is business sequence.

Out of Top 200 Companies in Software and IT – last 3 years statistics reflect, convey
and show that not more than 26 companies that Hire / Recruit Fresher’s in Bulk
quantities did visited Engineering Colleges. Again here there is Zonal Plan out, State
Wise plan out or based upon Campus / College grading. This particular issue
requires critical planning on analysis basis only - that too keeping in view local
condition.

Software Companies and IT Companies that offer ‘immediate’ joining for Salary
bucket of Rs 1,44, 000 Per annum to Rs 1,80,000 Per annum are avoided and not
welcomed by students as well as Engineering colleges. As on today more or less
18,000 SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) companies do Hire / Recruit Fresher’s,
purely as on when vacancies exist or arise.

Important factor here - Until student is in college they do not welcome such offers,
however on completion of their respective graduation they go and join for lesser salary
too.

Core Engineering Companies requirement of Hiring / Recruitment is always in FEW in

NUMBERS and they have very robust system of hierarchy and they go with
fundamentals of Management Engineer Trainee (GET), and salary package in most
cases range from Rs 1,44,000 Per annum to Rs 2,40,000 Per annum bucket. Purely as
on when vacancies exist or arise. Collectively Students and College Managements
avoid such fundamentally strong core companies. Out of 7, 50, 000 companies – any
time any company might recruit / hire or may also not do, however connectivity need to
established for long term benefits. Whether Colleges like or does not like.
