Heart Attack in America

The symptoms started way before 9:02 am April 16th, 1995. America has had a disease since people
migrated to this beautiful country. I love people of all race, creed, and religion but sadly human
nature does not allow everyone to love each other.

When the American Indians were attacked many moons ago, the disease was allowed in at that time.
This disease is like no other, it will attack every being and fiber of one's body and it is so easily
curable, if we would allow the cure.

Already inflicted before the African Americans came to America, they were entrapped. Once
entrapped with enticement of food, shelter, some land, and mostly their lives, the hate was already
built up. It did not start in America, it was brought over to America but America was to blame. This
caused the disease to grow like wildfire on a warm, windy Oklahoma day.

The cure was a thought but we did not know that what we thought was a cure was another symptom
that made the disease even worse. The cure was at our fingertips but some used the disease as a
crutch and could not let go of the bad habits that caused the disease. The civil war had started.
Now because America is a kind hearted soul, we decided to ignore our own disease and help others
resolve theirs. The help sacrificed us even more and more. Each bought weighed heavily on us, the
pancreatic of World War I. The painful tonsillitis of World War II was surgically corrected. The
disease was still there.

Then after suffering the inflictions of the past, we still stepped in exposing ourselves to the painful
infliction of the gall bladder of the Korean conflict. We are conflicted because even though we don't
realize it, the gall bladder has a purpose and it is now removed. The what we thought was a cure,
was simply a patch. When our new friends came over to experience "freedom", sadly the disease
thicken with some. We could not let it go to be healed and they were inflicted with the disease that
America suffers from.
Next to the slavery of our African American friends, the beating and stealing from our American
Indian friends, we did it again in a war form this time across the ocean. We now suffer from sirosis
of the liver from the Vietnam war or conflict. We once again are conflicted and when our new found
friends came over to feel the "freedom" we preached about, they were infected with the disease too.
What was worse about this round of the disease is we started not only attacking our friends and
family, but we started attacking ourselves.

Then the heart attack came from so many bouts on different levels of the same disease. April 16,
1995, some decided to be the cure, suicide is not a cure. It hardens the heart. Suicide of murdering
our own to stop the disease caused us to break. We did not break so much we needed a heart
transplant but that is yet to come. The explosion in our heart was in the form of a van. The heart
attack created a distrust of our bodies now since we did not know if we could trust our ticker to
keep working. We fed it medicine of love but only in small doses. The band aid of education but the
sealant was not strong enough to keep the disease contained. The disease is now spreading like
wildfires again on a warm, windy Oklahoma day.

America is in need of a heart transplant since September 11th. The distrust of ourselves, our
neighbors, and our past has become to much for our heart to bare. Instead of taking a step back and
realizing we need the medicine of forgiveness, not only for our neighbors but ourselves. The cure of
love and knowledge that everyone is equal and the same. The stench of our past simmers in the
background blinding us to the cure of our present. America needs a heart transplant because we
have wore this heart out with the disease of hatred.
