! WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS


WARNING:
● Before beginning the installation, turn off electricity at the circuit breaker box or the main fuse box by
switching off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.
CAUTIONS:
● These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before
the installation of your fixture. We strongly recommend that a professional electrician install the fixture.
● Disconnect fixture from the power source before replacing the bulb(s), making sure the bulb(s) had
sufficient time to cool down. DO NOT subject the lamp to any shock while lit as shattering of lamp may
result.
PREPARATION
● Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or
operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement part.
● Estimated Assembly Time: 15 - 30 minutes
● Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Flathead screwdriver , Phillips screwdriver, pliers, electrical
tape, wire cutters, safety glasses &3, 60 Watt, Candelabra Base Bulbs.
● Helpful Tools (not included): Wire Strippers.

STEP 1:
a . Screw the Mounting Screws into the Crossbar , place the
Lock Washers over the Mounting Screws and thread the Crossbar
Outlet Box
Hex Nuts onto the Mounting Screws as shown . Secure the Lock Washer
position of the Mounting Screws by tightening the Hex Nuts Mounting Hex Nut
against the Crossbar . Screw
b. Place the Crossbar onto the Wall surface and line up one
set of holes onto mounting holes on Outlet Box. Using a
pencil, mark the locations for Wall Anchors.
c. Remove the Crossbar and drill holes from the marks and
then push the Wall Anchors into the holes.
d. Position the Crossbar back onto the Wall, secure by Outlet Box
threading the Outlet Box Screws into the mounting holes Screw
on the Outlet Box and screw Self-tapping Screws into the
Wall Anchors. Tighten until snug.

STEP 2 :
a . Locate the Backplate onto the Crossbar and slip the Button Crossbar
Stop on the end of Lanyard into the Slot on the Crossbar as Button Stop
shown.

STEP 3 :
* Use Wire Connectors ( not supplied ) to connect the WHITE OR RIBBED WHITE OR RIBBED
wires . FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
a . Connect the House Ground Wire to the Fixture Ground
Wire.
b . Connect the House White ( or Ribbed ) Wire to the BLACK ( OR RED ) WIRE BLACK OR SMOOTH
Fixture Supply Wire ( White or Ribbed Side ) .

c . Connect the House Black ( or Red ) Wire to the Fixture FROM HOUSE
Supply Wire ( Black or Smooth Side ).
d . Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape and

carefully stuff all of the connected wires into the Outlet

STEP 4 :
a . Place the Backplate over the Mounting Screws and secure
with Mounting Balls. Hand tighten until snug.

STEP 5:
a . Install correct bulbs referring to fixture markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .

STEP 6 :
a . Place the Glass Panel A (or B) inside of the Cage as
Glass Panel A (or B)
shown .
b . Place Tabs onto the top edge of the Glass Panels and Lock Screw
match the holes on the Tabs onto Mounting Holes on
the top edge of the Cage .

c . Using screwdriver , thread Lock Screws into Mounting
Holes and hand tighten until snug to secure Glass
Panels .

STEP 7 :
a . Lift the Cage with Glass Panels upward, pass the center
hole on the bottom of the Cage over the Nipple on the
bottom of the Socket Assembly. Secure with the Hex
Coupling and tighten until snug.
b . Screw the Nipple into the Hex Coupling and tighten until
snug. Place the Cap over the nipple and secure with the
Finial. Hand tighten until snug.

STEP 8 :
a . Refer to following information for caulking instructions :

For assemble the MOUNTING BALLS , please note that


you are required to apply a small amount of Silicone
sealer to the threaded side of the MOUNTING BALLS
and then install them onto the MOUNTING SCREWS .

With the OUTDOOR FIXTURE properly installed in accordance with supplied Assembly/installation
instructions, proceed with caulking instructions below.

Note: Be sure EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE and FIXTURE BACKPLATE are free to dirt to caulking.
Using EXTERIOR GRADE CAULK, start on one side of FIXTURE BACKPLATE and follow contour, were
the FIXTURE BACKPLATE meets the EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE upward. Proceed to caulk over top of
backplate and down other side. DO NOT CAULK BOTTOM OF FIXTURE BACKPLATE to ensure proper
moisture drainage.
