About Friday
Friday is the best day in a week and some important
recommendation from Prophet PBUH that we should aware of.

The best day of the week
Abu Hurairah reported Allah's
Messenger PBUH as saying:
The best day on which the
sun has risen is friday...

Narrated by Imam Abu Daud

Friday

The day Allah created
Prophet Adam
...on it Adam was created,
on it he was made to enter
Paradise, on it he was
expelled from it.  
Narrated by Imam Abu Daud

Recommended by Prophet to
bath on Friday
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Umar:
Allah's Apostle PBUH said,
Anyone of you attending
the Friday prayers should
take a bath."

Recommended by Prophet to
use Siwak and wear perfume
Siwak Perfume
Narrated Abu Said: I testify that
Allah's Apostle PBUH said,
The taking of a bath on friday is
compulsory for every male Muslim
who has attained the age of
puberty...

and the cleaning of his
teeth with Siwak, and the
using of perfume if it is
available."

Our Prophet recite surah
As-Sajadah on every fajr
prayer on friday
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Prophet used to recite
the following in the Fajr
prayer of friday,

Alif, Lam, Mim, Tanzil

– Surah As-Sajadah

Hal ata ‘alal Insani

– Surah Al-Insan

Du’a will be answered
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
Allah's Apostle PBUH talked
about friday and said,
There is an hour on friday
and if a Muslim gets it
while praying...

Narrated by Imam Muslim

and asks something from
Allah, then Allah will
definitely meet his
demand."

Du’a on Friday

Forbid from fasting
on Friday
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
I heard the Prophet saying,
None of you should fast on
friday unless he fasts a day
before or after it.

Narrated by Imam Abu Daud

 None of you should fast on
Did you know

friday unless he fasts a day

before or after it.
The Hell fire is kindled except
of Friday.
(Hadith Sunan Abi Daud)
