This quick installation guide describes the installation procedure of a GPS module (Trimble Lassen) for the Indoor and Outdoor
Macro BTSs.
For more information refer to the relevant sections in the System Manual and Installation Manual.
CAUTION
ONLY experienced installation professionals who are familiar with local building and safety codes and,
wherever applicable, are licensed by the appropriate government regulatory authorities should install outdoor
units and antennas. Failure to do so may void the product warranty and may expose the end user or Service
Provider to legal and financial liabilities. The manufacturer and its resellers or distributors are not liable for
injury, damage or regulation violations associated with the installation of outdoor units or antennas.

IMPORTANT
When connecting to indoor BTS - pay attention to the connectors when spreading the cables on the
roof to inside the building. For the GPS cable, make sure that the RJ-45 connector side of the cable
remains on the roof and the D-type connector side enters the building.
1 Connect the grounding cable to the grounding screw located on the bottom panel of the GPS bracket (Figure 2). Connect
the other end of the grounding cable to a good ground (earth) connection.
