PRAYER POINTS FOR JULY2010.

DAY PRAYER POINTS
1.Thu Thank God for His Love and safety from January – June 2010. Commit the month of July to God
2.Fri Pray for Nigeria. Ask God to put in motion what is need to hold a free & fair elections in Nigeria.
3.Sat Pray for Emmanuel Akpo (FCS National Director) who is a year older today.
4.Sun Pray for FCS at Post secondary Schools (POSEC) levels. Most of them will be conduction elections & handing over.
5.Mon Pray for the Govt. of Benue State to answer the staff of Benue State University, Makurdi, who has been on strike since
May.
6.Tue Pray for FCS National Hq. asks God to grant the National Director, Management team and other junior Staff grace to do
His work faithfully and also keep them safe.
7.Wed Pray for the Area Sec as he prepare for the Area Committee meeting this week end.
8.Thu Today Area Sec meets with the TSs. Pray for journey mercies and fruitful deliberations that will advance God’s kingdom.
9.Fri Pray for journey mercies for Area Committee members and Area POSEC leaders as they meet today.
10.Sat Thank God for the lives of some FCS Patrons/Patronesses, who labour among these students. Ask God to give them
grace to continue to be faithful and relevant in His work.
11.Sun Pray for the SS3 students that just passed out. Ask God to keep them in faith & make them live for Him at the period of
waiting.
12.Mon Thank God for the successful appendix operation for Mr. Shedrack Data (Area AFCS Coordinator). Ask God to complete
the healing. Pray for others who are sick.
13.Tue Pray for devotional editing retreat going on at FCS hq. Ask God to give them wisdom to do the editing well.
14.We Area Sec (Godwithus) is on two weeks leaves (12 – 24). Pray for him as he rest and be with the family in Yola. Ask for
d wisdom for Chris –Chigozirim Ogbonna as he acts as Area Secretary.
15.Thu HIV/AIDS & Life Skills TOT Workshop starts today (15 – 18) at FCS Office, Lafia. Pray for journey mercies for Resource
Persons & participant. Ask God to make the training a success.
16.Fri Gboko zone and Ihugh (Vandeikya zone) holds CTC and Sub zonal conference respectively this weekend. Ask God to
meet these young lives at the points of needs. Holiday School Coordinators’ workshop also holds in Plateau state.
17.Sat Thank God for provision of a satellite dish, TV set, Refrigerator, water dispenser & DVD player for FCS Benue State
house. Pray God to bless all that contributed to purchase of these materials.
18.Sun Thank God for how far He has provided for Plateau State to pay for the new land. Ask God to touch the heart of men to
give to complete the payment.
19.Mon Pray for zones like Zaki Biam, Langtang, Akwanga etc that have on going Zonal Project s. Ask God for resources to
complete it.
20.Tue Thank God for journey mercies & safety God granted the Area Sec to visit the three states (10 – 29June). Pray for the
11zones, 42 schools, 6AFCS reaching 3,290 persons out of 195 made decisions for Jesus, that God will keep them.
21.We More hands are needed for FCS work in all the zones. Ask God of the harvest to send committed labour into this work.

22.Thu Thank God for the full time staff in the Area. Ask God to renew their strength, vision, zeal and keep them safe.
23.Fri FCS Nasarawa State holds “Teacher Summit” (23 – 24) at Eggon Community Secondary School, Nasarawa Eggon. Pray
for resources and ask God to every at the point of need & raise workers for Himself.
24.Sat Thank God for what He is doing in This country (Nigeria). Pray for President Goodluck Jonathan and his cabinet for
wisdom to rule and lead this nation to greater heights.
25.Sun Thank God for the success of the National council retreat/ meeting and National Open house that took place on 2 – 5
June. Pray for grace and wisdom to implement decision taken and that promises made during open will be fulfil.
26.Mon FCS Field Staff are on workshop since yesterday (25 – 29) on support raising. Pray for it success and grace to raise the
needed support for FCS Ministry.
27.Tue Pray for the wife of the Staff in the Area (Mrs. Christy Abolaji, Mrs. Christy Ogbonna & Mrs. Mobolaji Oketayo) that they will
be a source of joy and support to the husbands. Ask God to grant the Area Sec’ s wife wisdom as she writes he final
exams.
28.We Pray for healing and stable health for those who have been sick using Bar. Mercy Igbadu ( Area Legal Adviser) and Bro.
d Kumbur Geoffrey (Benue State JFCS Coordinator) as a point of contact.
29.Thu FCS Area & State JFCS Coordinator with field staff will start workshop today (29 Jul – 1Aug) on JFCS work. Pray for
journey mercies and grace to cope with the work as they are trained.
30.Fri Thank God for Dr. Francis Agbidye and Dr. Torese Agena for their new appointments as Dean of College of Forestry
University of Agriculture, Makurdi and Clerk of Benue State House of Assembly respectively. Pray for God’s guidance and
protections as they carry out their duties in the fear of God.
