ABOUT AMO
The story of the AMO Company began in 2002 with an innovation: the company founder, Mr. Richard Wong, started as a one-
man enterprise in the development and trade of offshore and marine automation system including DCS, ESD and Fire & Gas
system (ASIA MARINE & OFFSHORE EQUIPMENT CO., LTD.). In the market, there are so many brands of gas detection,
Fire Alarm and Flame detection product, but only few Alarm Signal devices for customers to choose. So Mr. Wong invited some
partners to establish AMO SAFETY EQUIPMENT (ASIA) PTE LTD Enterprise, specializing in the Explosion-proof Alarm
Signal devices.
Today AMO has grown into a manufacturer of high-quality industrial safety products for applications in explosion-hazardous
areas. The Main Products are SS316 and GRP Alarm Sounder/Horn, Alarm Beacon/Light, Alarm Sounder/Horn & Beacon
Complex Unit, Manual Call Point and Push Button, SS316 and GRP Junction box. The management of AMO complies with
ISO9001:2000 and Euro EN13980 Quality System. The explosion-proof products have ATEX (NEMKO and DNV & CQST) EC
TYPE Certificates.

BC-125 series Explosion-proof Beacon & Light is designed according to EN 60079-0, EN 60079-1 and EN 54 (BS 5879) standard.
Enclosure material is SS (Stainless Steel) 316. This product is certified for use and installation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas with gases
groups of IIA, IIB, IIC and temperature classification of T4~T6. It specially applies to Oil & Gas, Offshore Platform, Chemical,
Petrochemical, Refinery and Marine Industries etc. Different flash or rotary rate can be adjusted from unique design. Three working
statuses-flash type, rotary type and steady type are available (LED).

INTRODUCTION
SD-125 series Explosion-proof Sounder/Horn & Loudspeaker is designed according to EN 60079-0, EN 60079-1 and EN 54 (BS

Users can choose single sounder, speaker or two-in-one sounder & loudspeaker. The design of two-in-one sounder & loudspeaker is
unique. During normal operation, the device can be used as loudspeaker. When emergency arises, alarm tone will turn on and result
in loudspeaker signal being cut off. According to user control system, 4 stages of alarm tones can be sent out, from less critical stage
(stage 1) to the most critical stage (stage 4). Every stage tone can be selected separately. 64 tones are selectable. Users can
record sounds or customize sounds into the sounder by using 5 spare tones. Tone can be preset during installation. Two mounting
types- bracket mounting and wall mounting are available.

INTRODUCTION
SD-100 series Weatherproof Sounder/Horn is designed according to EN 54 (BS 5879) standard. Enclosure material is composite
material of PA (Polyamide) and Fiberglass. It applies to both indoor and outdoor industrial conditions. According to user’s control
system, 4 stages of alarm tones can be sent out, from less critical stage (stage 1) to the most critical stage (stage 4). Every stage
tone can be selected separately. 64 tones are selectable. Tone can be preset during installation.

Users can choose from multi-combination types. Xenon and LED Beacons & Lights can be selected for combination. Junction Box
can be fixed. Three working status-flash, rotary and steady are available (LED Beacon & Light). Different flash or rotary rate can be
adjusted. Working status type and flash /rotary rate are preset during installation.
