use of technology in the classroom has impacted your learning in this class. What
do you think could have been done to enhance your experience this semester?

Throughout time and time again, teachers always told me of how perfect my
papers turned out. It took the unorthodox teachings and use of technology to show
me that even my best works are not flawless. Though it may have proven difficult to
change my way of writing, with the help of both my teacher and the world of
technology, I accomplished just that.

Time and time again, I turned in papers I thought nearly perfect, to find that I
contained more faults than I believed. Through Mr. Neuburger, I learned to turn my
arrogance into a more constructive outlet, without demolishing my self-esteem. He
shown me countless tools to use, as well as what could be done to improve my “art”
of writing. Though his methods of teaching seemed rather unorthodox to me, they
proved to be beneficial.

It seems that most , if not all, of my assignments incorporated the use of

technology. My works proved better due to the tools accessible to me through the
internet. My audience exponentially expanded from a small classroom, into the
entirety of the world through the medium of the internet. My works no longer
limited to the eyes of the class, but perhaps even professionals who could help me
as well.

Throughout the books issued to me in my class, though it may not be new,

the refresher helped me fine tune my pieces of paper into the envisioned works of
art I imagined them to be. I quickly realized how much I forgot in the two years
away from high school. With both Neuburger and the texts to help me step by step,
my papers gradually became the true expressions of me that I had hoped them to
be.

Overall, without these three venues, combined in this one class, I would not
have been able to accomplish expressing my emotion through writing. My papers in
high school could not compare to the works of art Mr. Neuburger helped me chisel
from a blank canvas. To him I say “thank you”.
