infeksi luka operasi (ILO). Infeksi luka operasi merupakan salah satu masalah
utama dalam praktek pembedahan. Hal yang mempengaruhi infeksi luka operasi
yaitu adanya kontaminasi. Kontaminasi meningkat seiring dengan lamanya
operasi. Semakin lama prosedur, semakin besar kemungkinan terjadinya
devitalisasi jaringan akibat trauma atau dehidrasi. Hal ini meningkatkan
kemungkinan kontaminasi sehingga angka infeksi luka operasi meningkat.
infeksi luka operasi pasien pasca bedah orthopedi.
cara total sampling yaitu sebanyak 178 kasus. Populasi berupa data rekam medik
pasien bedah orthopedi periode 1 Januari – 31 Desember 2009

Background : One of the most common nosocomial infections are surgical site
infections (ILO).Surgical wound infection is one of the main problems in the
practice of surgery. Things that affect surgical wound infection is the existence of
contamination. Contamination increases with duration of surgery. The longer the
procedure, the greater possibility of network devitalisasi due to trauma or
dehydration. This increases the likelihood of contamination so that the surgical
wound infection rates are rising. The purpose of this study was to determine the
relationship between the old operation with the incidence of wound infection in
postoperative orthopedic patients
Research Methodology : This study design was a descriptive type of research,
correlation studies with the ex post facto approach to tracing back to the
secondary data, patient medical records. The sample was collected with a total
sampling of 178 cases. Population data of orthopedic surgery patients' medical
records during January 1 - December 31, 2009
Results : short-long operation category is 32 people (45.07%), whereas in the
long category are 39 people (54.93%). Incidence of infection is 8 people
(11.27%), whereas no infection was 63 people (88.73%). So that the results of the
research analysis P value: 0.722 with a significance value (α): 0.05 which states
there is no significant relationship with the operations group should long surgical
wound infection in postoperative orthopedic patients in hospital. Dr. Saiful Anwar
Malang.
Conclusion : There is no significant relationship between the operating time with
surgical site infections in orthopedic patients after surgery (P-value ≥ 0.05).
