Jesus Calms the Storm

Un día, Jesús terminó un día largo de caminar y enseñar a la gente acerca de

Dios. Entró a una barca con sus discípulos y fue a otro pueblo.
One day, Jesus had just finished a long day of walking and teaching people about
God. He got in a boat with His disciples to go to another town.
Cuando viajaban de noche, Jesús se quedó dormido.
As they sailed through the night, Jesus fell asleep.
 De pronto, llegó una gran tormenta. Truenos retumbaban y relámpagos
cruzaban el cielo. El viento soplaba y grandes olas golpeaban el barco.
Suddenly, a great storm came their way. Thunder rumbled and lightening tore across
the sky. The wind blew and great waves crashed into the boat.
 ¡Los discípulos tenían pánico! Despertaron a Jesús a toda prisa. “¡Señor,
sálvanos!” gritaron.
The disciples were terrified! They quickly woke Jesus up. “Lord, save us!” they cried.
Jesús despertó, alzó los brazos hacia la tormenta y dijo: “Calla, enmudece.” ¡Y
cesó la tormenta! El mar se calmó. Y los discípulos se salvaron.
Jesus awoke, and held out His hands toward the storm. He said “Peace, be still.” And
the storm stopped! The sea was calm. The disciples were safe.
“¿Por qué tenían tanto miedo?” preguntó Jesús a Sus discípulos. “Necesitan
más fe”.
“Why were you so afraid?” Jesus asked his disciples. “You need more faith!”
