SYNOPSIS
Teenage years are some of the most traumatic for every parent. They are worried about where
their teen will be they grow into adulthood. These teenage years are plagued with growth,
hormonal changes, increased conflicts with parents and siblings, peer relationships, uncertainty,
mood swings, competition, examinations, struggle with success and failures and role finding to
name a few. The scary thing is that the teen himself or herself is not aware of all these changes
and he / she is generally not worried too much about the future. The teen is caught in between
changing from being a child to an adult. As parents, it is our job to help our teen get through
these difficult years and yet give him / her the space to grow to be himself / herself. The key is
to help your teen to succeed without compromising your relationship with him. This workshop
“Helping Your Teenager To Succeed” is intended to help you to facilitate the positive
development of a teen’s life. We’ll investigate into ways that parents can reinforce teen’s
motivation and help them succeed in life.
