Economics and Finance

Oxford University Press has an extensive list of publications in Economics ranging from some of
the classic thinkers to a number of modern masters – twentieth-century winners of the Nobel Prize
for Economics and, especially in our Clarendon series, many of those whose thinking is currently
driving the subject forward. The list has long been strong in Development Economics and Public
Economics and in books on the boundary between Economics and Philosophy, especially where
notions of welfare and equality are concerned. It has a distinct policy orientation. Econometrics has
recently become a strength, a new departure has been the establishment of a striking list of books
in Finance and we are entering the field of Behavioural Economics.
