PERSONAL PROFILE
I am a responsible and reliable and honest individual with an enthusiastic approach to work. I am
confident, and able to achieve personal objectives as demonstrated by successful completion of my
studies to date. I work well under pressure and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn at all
times. In addition I have excellent customer service skills and am flexible and able to deliver quality
service with customer satisfaction. I have a clear vision of future objectives, able to work on my own
initiative and also as part of a team. I am capable of hard work and adapting to any change in my
environment.
SKILLS PROFILE
Communication
o Good communication skills gained from giving presentations at seminars and dealing with
customers tactfully and diplomatically
o Working on team projects during my course has involved different roles, which have
developed negotiation and persuasion skills.
o Languages Fluent in English & Gambian and basic oral French.
Teamwork
o Successful course work was dependent upon participation and motivation of syndicated
project groups.
o Experience of working within a team-based culture involved planning, organisation, co-
ordination and commitment.
Problem solving
o Development of strong analytical skills working for Servisair taught me to find solutions to
client’s problems in a calm and efficient manner.

o Good working knowledge of processing packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and a

Recently completed a dissertation on what the government of The Gambia is doing to help other
organisations in terms of improving tourism and the tourist experience. The project enhanced my
knowledge in managing a project on my own initiative, to tight deadlines.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Worked as part of a team providing helpful and efficient customer service support, undertake
administrative duties, Cash handling and dealing with foreign exchange currencies.
Generally assisting in the day to day running of the reception department ensuring that they are in
sound administrative order as well as working to targets and increasing sales.
March 2007 –Oct 2007 Servisair East Midlands Airport, Passenger Assistant
Working under extreme pressure, dealing with customer queries tactfully and diplomatically, and
clerical duties e.g. sending faxes and photocopying and transferring phone calls where
necessary.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Travelled widely during holidays to countries like Norway, Sweden, Malta, United States, therefore I
have had the opportunity to experience a variety of culture and people.
