BBU VISION – MISSION (GOALS AND OBJECTIVES)

VISION

Build Bright University will be one of the leading and internationally recognized
universities in the region.

MISSION

Build Bright University is committed to provide students needed knowledge and


skills that meet national and international standards.

STRATEGIC GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

1. To build needed knowledge and skills for undergraduate, graduate and


professional students to be successful persons, and professionals, and to
provide values and orientation necessary to be men and women for others.
2. To provide access to the higher education for qualified learners with
special attention to disadvantaged groups, particularly the rural poor and
female students.
3. To improve the standard and quality of higher education in Cambodia that
meet the international accreditation systems and to integrate Cambodia
into the Asia Pacific Region.
4. To foster social reconciliation of economic equity and to protect
Cambodia’s natural resources through education programs for sustainable
development.
5. To provide and facilitate the best educational environment in Cambodia.
6. To contribute in the improvement of the socio-economic conditions of
over thirteen million Cambodians by providing access to higher education
and community-based integrated development projects associated with the
university research and extension services.
7. To provide a variety of learning environments to meet the different needs
of learners drawn from diverse educational, social, ethnic, and economic
backgrounds.
8. To offer an attractive and convenient campus environment and resources
necessary to promote learning one world throughout the university.

development in teaching, learning, and research and development. To achieve
our strategic goals, we will continuously improve our program curriculum,
pedagogy, and learning activities through curriculum development by current
research, professional practice, assessment and evaluation and making use of
constructive feedbacks from our stakeholders.

OUR STRATEGIES FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS FOR THE MBA
PROGRAM:

1. Focus on academic research and development as our priority areas


for research, teaching and learning in order to attain academic
excellence in the program.

2. Develop competencies of the academic staff through targeting the


development of knowledge, and research and teaching skills that are
vital to the program

3. Enhance the quality of students’ learning in the programs through


the support of the administration services, adequate physical
facilities, library, and information resources.

4. Develop a comprehensive Marketing Plan to promote, educate, and


disseminate information on the program, and at the same time
expand recognition of BBU to the general public.

5. Receive formal accreditation and recognition quality from the


Accrediting Committee of Cambodia (ACC) on our MBA Program.

6. Evaluate existing program and operations rigorously to ensure


mission appropriateness, satisfactory productivity, relevant contents,
adequate resources, measurable outcomes, and competitive quality.

7. Attract, retain, and continue to develop highly qualified, innovative


and inspiring faculty and professional staff through improving
recruitment processes and investing on faculty/staff development in
order to run the program successfully.
