when a patient have treatment on 31-3-03 from outdoor ticket in emergency ward.After 10 day come back in
emergency ward.Patient have treatment get from same doctor.Patient ask doctor he want to M.L.R. Plz Show the
previous treatment.

what if the patient is to be referred, without wasting time in preparing the MLR,keeping in view the serious condition of
the patient? whose duty,legally, is it to prepare the MLR? the doctor at the hospital where the patient was referred
and is being managed or the doctor who initially attended to the patient but referred him because of his seriousness...
please advise along with the clause/para of the act which states this. thanks.

If a patient is serious, even the Supreme Court has held that legal formalities take a back seat. He should be referred
immediately to the higher centre after documenting the reasons for such immediate referral. It would also be helpful if
it is mentioned in the referral note that the MLR was not prepared in view of the urgency of the situation. The hospital
to which the patient is referred would then be liable to issue the MLR.

i have a query sir...
if a patient complains of assault but dere is no evidence of any injury internally or externally. then are we liable to
prepare a mlc case?
