Manufacturing Manager (Carter Cryogenics 2005 - 2007)
- Responsible for all production and manufacturing processes related to the asse
mbly and testing of cryogenic pumps used in the Liquid Gas Industry, including a
machine shop that handled the production and engineering rework of pump parts.
- Completed a $500,000 upgrade to the existing test stand. The new test stand te
sted the pumps more efficiently and in a way that more closely approximated actu
al customer applications.
- Identified and implemented fundamental changes to the machine shop and assembl
y areas that allowed the facility to manufacture and assemble taller and heavier
pumps using existing technology and equipment. Not only did this save the compa
ny several hundred thousand dollars in unneeded capital expenditures, but it als
o allowed pumps to be manufactured15% faster, with improved safety.

for organizing and dismantling this granite facility, accomplishing this $50K p
roject in three weeks with less than one month's notice.
- Implemented Demand Flow and other Lean Manufacturing processes into the produc
tion line for our new model 688 mechanical drilling machine. This was the first
application of this type to be successfully implemented in this factory.
- Suggested design and manufacturing changes to improve the building cost, assem
bly time, and overall quality of all drill machines. For the model 688, the buil
d time was cut in half.

geographic area and included locations in Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle, San F
rancisco, Bakersfield, and Los Angeles.
- Integrated our new service data system and was the first person to use such pe
