such as Nordstroms, Dillards, and Bloomingdales. Reporting directly to the CEO,

* Brought in to build infrastructure and reorganization, to be able to take the

* Instituted the budgeting process by Brand, to generate P&L's by Brands and acc

supply chain by implementing new processes and procedures.
WORK 'N GEAR
Managed the transition to new systems and facilities, as well as build the infra
structure for growth. Responsibilities include all areas of operations including
merchandising, marketing, distribution and logistics, information systems, and
store operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, with six direct reports.

* Successfully raised $6M in equity funding in the company's second year.
* Successfully managed the first year transition and was able to post a first ye
ar positive EBITDA of $2M.
* Refocused the marketing and merchandising efforts toward a more 'brand' consci

* Successfully moved and implemented all new processes and systems for this 'sta
rtup' retailer, as well as the hiring of all key management and staff.

CASUAL MALE CORPORATION

e in the company, reporting directly to the CEO, Chairman of the Board. Took ste
ps necessary to expand the business both domestically and internationally. Full
administration of several departments including MIS, Merchandise Control and Bud
gets, Distribution Center and Logistics. Supervise 5 direct reports and an MIS s
taff of more than 100, as well as a distribution center with more than 200.

2001to 5/2002
* Completed the negotiation and sale of the Work 'n Gear division for $10M.
* Negotiated, and began rollout of Hughes satellite network for our stores, proj
ected to save over $300,000 per year.
* Successfully moved the Alpharetta fulfillment and call center facility and fun
ctions to Canton, without any disruption to the business. Led the planning and l
ogistics of this move and implementation into the current facility.
1ST Sr. VP | CIO 1992 to 2001
* Completed the sale of our $300M shoe business to Footstar Inc. Played a major
roll in the negotiation, and ultimate transition of the business to Footstar.
* Finished our third E-Commerce site, as well as implemented new fulfillment sof
tware (Ecometry) for our Catalogue division in Atlanta.
* Instrumental in negotiation of a key business transaction which resulted in th
e addition of $4M to company's bottom line.
J. BAKER INC.
Planned and controlled $600M in inventory levels and open-to-buy with full autho
rity for directing several corporate areas. Worked closely with Divisional Pres
idents and General Merchandise Managers to determine sales, inventory, and gross
margin plans by department and category. Served as liaison between merchandisi
ng, finance, and systems departments.
