United States Army, Fort Sill, OK April 2008 to Present
Senior Enlisted Advisor-Trained National Guard and Reservist supervisors on effe
ctive training and management techniques including procedures to fully maximize
limited training time.
* Improved communication and the quality of training events for deploying units
by creating and implementing a training curriculum that focused on improving job
performance and managerial skills.
* Improved the overall training and operating procedures of the unit by creating
a Document Policy and Procedure manual. This resulted in greater accuracy and
coordination of training and operating procedures for long and short-range proje
cts.
* Prepared and presented Operational briefings to executive management with over
90 % successful completion rate for mission analysis.
United States Army, Camp Casey, Korea March 2007 - March 2008
Battalion Master Gunner- Principal trainer and evaluator for organization's mana
ger.
* Monitored the quality of training and testing for 475 soldiers.
* Made recommendations for upgrades in equipment and programs which provided ove
r 95 % certification rate within the Battalion.
* Instilled cohesion between organizations by making recommendations for trainin

United States Army, Fort Sill, Ok Dec 2003 - March 2007
First Sergeant - Principal human resources advisor to organization's manager.
* Co-managed a unit of 123 soldiers.
* Researched best practices and made recommendations to the unit manager on area
s such as employee discipline, reassignment, promotion, and incentive awards.
* Resolved conflicts between operating units by determining the facts underlyin
g the conflict, mediating cooperative agreement, and taking corrective actions.

Operations Sergeant - Managed operations with a unit staffed with 5 Officers and
9 NCOs.
* Responsible for the planning and execution of training for 415 personnel.
* Ensured proper communication across all levels of the battalion that enabled t
he Battalion to complete 100% of all assigned tasked from Brigade level.
* Directed the maintenance of 245 vehicles, associated with communication, fire
control, networking, and computer equipment.
* Managed complex weapons teams, ammunition sections, and ceremonial detail cert
ification programs ensuring all policies were followed.
Platoon Sergeant - Managed a staff of 45 soldiers utilizing complex weapons syst
em.
* Supervised maintenance, training adherence to safety procedures, Equal Opportu
nity, and the proper distribution, storage, and handling of ammunition. This res
ulted in the top section and 4 out of 6 soldiers achieving distinguished honors
during section competition.
* Performed reconnaissance, initiated unit defense plan, and established supply
reorganization within the unit.
* Supervised the Headquarters platoon maintenance, communications, supply and am
munition sections resulting in each being commended on inspections and evaluatio
ns.
United States Army, Fort Sill, Ok August 1999 - October 2001
Drill Sergeant - Managed over 65 students, providing leadership and mentoring in
preparation for their military careers.
* Mentored and trained students on leadership, military discipline, technical ma
terial and personal endurance which lead to over 85% graduation rate.
* Motivated students to succeed and overcome emotional and behavioral problems w
hile providing mentorship for those not making satisfactory progress.
