MILITARY WORK SKILLS: Spanning a 40 year career in the National Guard Ive been a
ssigned to property accounting positions from 1991 to the present. Knowledgeable
in logistics planning, transportation operations, property accountability, auto
mation management and supply chain processes. I was deployed with the 42nd Infa
ntry Division in 2004 as the Division Property Book Officer, controlling over a
Billion dollars worth of equipment and managing 40 account personnel. Past exp
erience in supply and property accounting started in 1991 as a Warrant Officer a
nd progressed thru 3 promotions to W4. Duty positions included Property Account
Technician, BN CSDP Manager to Division Property Book Officer.
My current assignment is as New Jerseys Automation Manager Office for military c
omputers ensuring equipment readiness, virus protection and operator training.
Transferable work skills include: multi-level coordination, personnel management
, hands-on trainer, budget manager, computer literate and mission focused. Wri
ting, interpreting and executing Standard Operating Procedures as well as storag
e, shipping and receiving equipment is something I have been doing for years. I
m currently utilizing Microsoft Office, Word, Excell, Access, Power Point and Ou
tLook.
Major accomplishments in the past few years have been to instruct all NJ Unit Le
vel Supply sergeants to operate the Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) ba
r code readers, create unit level inventories, maintain STAMIS computer systems
with current security patches, enable 20 VSAT satellite systems in the NJ Guard,
and field over 325 new Logistical systems.
