governmental regulations. Developed account profiles and
reviewed all account opening documents for fraud and illegal
activity. Ensured compliance with operational and
governmental regulations including BSA, AML, STR and CTR
filing.
Concurrently functioned as an active banker, soliciting
personal and business accounts and developing new client
relationships. Counseled high net-worth individuals and
corporate clients on investment opportunities, risk analysis
and monetary returns.
KEY FRAUD PREVENTION/INVESTIGATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Transformed branch from the worst in fraud to the best

$276K (2001) to $1200 (2002).
* Uncovered $15MM money laundering operation by group of
Russian business owners through wire transfer reports, site
visits and branch surveillance videos. Presented findings to
corporate security and compliance, enabling accounts to be
frozen and illegal operations shut down by law enforcement
and FBI.
* Discovered attorney stealing money from 19 guardianship
accounts and gathered 2 years of data from all branches with
relationships. Turned over investigation to corporate
security and law enforcement, leading to liquidation of
assets and the return of $2MM+ back to accounts.
* Investigated and located $83K difference that
transpired when Republic National Bank merged with HSBC,
requiring 5 weeks of close review of entire general ledger
accounts for branch, teller/branch proof sheets and check
deposits.
* Assisted Research & Adjustment Department in closing
1,857 claims filed by business owners and personal account
holders for missing account deposits/credits.
KEY BANKING ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Led all bankers in the Queens district for the most
insurance applications with 166 totaling $29MM, producing
$137K in revenue for the bank.
* Ranked #1 banker in 2003 for $67MM in new deposits, a
167% increase.
REPUBLIC NATIONAL BANK, SENIOR CONSUMER BANKER (1999 - 2001)
After Republic's merger with HSBC, cross-sold banking
services/products, mortgages and lines of credit to business
and owners in retail branch vs. previous back-office
environment. Trained, supervised and mentored 17 customer
service representatives, bankers and tellers. Ensured
operational standards/governmental regulations with BSA,
AML, STR and CTR as well as compliance with KYC
procedures/policies.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Led Queens' district in mortgage loans for 2 years with
loans totaling $17MM (1999) and $23MM (2000). Opened 413
checking accounts (1999) and 485 (2000).
* Implemented fraud prevention tactics and compliance
training, saving bank $700K in fraudulent accounts in year
2000 and lowering losses from 154% to 11%.

ASSISTANT TREASURER/ REVIEW AND CONTROL INTERNAL BANK
AUDITOR (1995 -1999)
Played key role in successful merge of 3 banks, Manhattan
Savings, Williamsburg Savings and Crossland Savings,
totaling 52 branches and $475MM in deposits.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Audited and combined the general ledger of 3 banks into
one within 43 days, despite the discovery and resolution of
385 missing mortgage loans ($77MM).
* Coordinated team of 7 to count physical cash for 52
