BACKGROUND
Before the last role, I worked more than 13 years for transnational manufacturin
g industry into financial areas: General Accounting, Cost accounting, Manufactur
ing operating expenses and Capital investment. Before that, 3 years working in i
nternal audit in a government entity, and 5 years of experience in tourism servi

tracking, analyst and reporting. Assuring the Policies and Processes update. Int
ernal Control Assessment, process implementation and tracking. All duties for bo

Contribution: Team was in a process of change when I joined, so I had to work in
the design of the whole process, including Excel tools, I.e. budget consolidati
on, tracking, analysis and reporting. I made an analysis of the whole package of
Policies and Procedures in order to update them and deploy them into the whole
organization. I made the ICA process implementation. I started documentation pro
cesses working with board of directors. I designed and promoted the web page con
struction in which all documents were available to all in the company. To do the
se contributions, it was required "teamwork" with many people in the whole organ
ization.

Core responsibilities: Financial Statements preparation (SAP v6.1) and analysis
for Mexican legal purposes. Assure data accuracy for internal and external purpo
ses. Physical & Data archive availability. Account analysis processes tracking.
Yearly inventories coordination to all local locations.
Contribution: In this last assignment, I worked on the organizational restructur
e, identifying and eliminating gaps in order to make feasible the process. I ali
gned the department outcomes against customer requirements under the new structu
re. I trained many users in organizational topics, and in SAP. I made adequate f
inancial statements structures in SAP as well as in Excel. I was the key contact
to the Account analysis process and for the external audit team.
