Objective
I am searching for a position as litigation and trial attorney.
Qualifications
I have extensive civil litigation experience as a defense and plaintiff
attorney. I have a strong background in case management and trials as
well as mediation, arbitration, legal research, discovery, law & motion,
depositions and appeals. I am a results-oriented, hands-on professional
with a successful record of accomplishments in the legal field. Major
strengths are strong leadership, self-motivation, flexibility, excellent
verbal and written communication skills, competent, strong team player,
attention to detail, and supervisory skills. I am on the Arbitration
panels of the Riverside County and San Bernardino County Superior Courts.
I have also served as arbitrator for private arbitrations. In addition, I
am currently serving on the Riverside Superior Court's settlement panel.

I have worked as a mediator in personal injury cases and have handled

numerous complex cases, including, but not limited to: medical
malpractice, police misconduct, bad faith, construction defect, products
liability, construction site accidents, public entity cases, premises
liability, automobile accidents, civil rights, wrongful termination,
uninsured motorist cases, subrogation litigation, Errors and Omission
cases for real estate and insurance brokers/agents and dog bites.

Currently, I am a sole practitioner with emphasis on medical malpractice

cases. Computer literate: Amicus Attorney V, Microsoft Office Word and
Word Perfect.

I also have a medical background having been a licensed Medical

Laboratory Technologist. I worked in major hospital labs. Also, I ran a
private lab for a medical group for three years prior to entering
college.

Career Accomplishments
I have won and/or settled multi-million dollar cases and have tried
approximately eighty-five (85) Superior Court cases to verdict as well as
four (4) Bench Trials. Four of my appellate cases have been published.
I have been a member of A.B.O.T.A (American Board of Trial Advocates)
since 1990, and served as President, vice-president and secretary of our
local chapter. I am also a member of the Riverside County Bar
Association. I have always done my own appeals, including briefs and oral
argument.
