General Manager - In a turn around / start-up situation for the only aluminum e
xtrusion facility within this 31 plant corporation. In addition to bringing new
equipment on line and into full production, trained and hired new staff and inst
alled proven Managers while instilling a sense of urgency to excel in performanc
e and production in all staff.
Fully responsible for P&L, all aspects of Manufacturing, and Sales for this faci
lity, reporting directly to the Owner.
Selected accomplishments include:
* Increased production from 350K lbs/month to 1,100,000 extruded lbs/month
* Raised On-Time Delivery to 95%. Previously at 18%
* Quality improved dramatically - Plant-wide Scrap reduced to 20% from 48%

General Manager (Contract position) - Contracted to build a plant in Clewiston
Florida. The build was cancelled (economic considerations), and I continued for
the remainder of the contract as a Site Manager in Miami, FL.

ine in profitability for a small aluminum extrusion and casting plant. Held full

rusion plant in SC. Responsibilities included Plant Layout, Equipment Selection
, Site Preparation and Customer Contacts.

relocation of CA operations to MI and played an integral part in the Greenfield
