nd finally working directly for owners of major casino/hotel properties as their
senior representative in charge during the properties design and construction p
eriods. During slow periods of design and construction Joe sometimes acted as a
property's facility director. In summary Joe's experiences can be summed up by s
aying he has been in the business of managing real estate development projects.
* Working in the field of Architecture Joe was employed for a total of eight yea
rs by the world renowned firm of Raymond and Rado during which time he attended
Cooper Union School of Engineering and Architecture four and five nights a week,
thanks to the GI Bill.
* Joe moved his focus to the field of Interior Design soon thereafter joining wh
at was at the time the premier ID organization as a Project Manager in their lar
ge project division. While there he was introduced to a family of NYC office bu
ilding developers who enticed Joe to leave his position in favor of becoming a P
roject Manager with their organization called Fisher Brothers. Joe accepted the
offer and managed the D&C of two of their many NYC high rise Class A structures.
* Smith Barney, the large brokerage house, was one of the tenants in the second
Fisher Brothers building Joe and was responsible for all tenant improvements inc
luding the Smith Barney headquarters. Joe became friendly with several of the Sm
ith Barney principals and was asked if he'd consider becoming their in house Dir
ector of Properties a position he accepted. His job was to travel the US, identi
fy locations for satellite offices, lease them, hire consultants to design them,
have them constructed and help establish occupancy.
* When travelling for Smith Barney began to become burdensome Joe sought and obt
ained a Project Manager's position with the largest Interiors Contractor in NYC
whose name at the time was HL Lazar (later changed to NICO Construction ) as a p
art of their Special Projects Division.
* In 1979 Joe decided to move him and his family to Denver, Colorado and began w
orking for The Prudential Insurance Real Estate and Commercial Investment Compan

udential owned in the Denver CBD.
* In early 1985 Joe was offered a PM/OR position with VMS Investments to work fo
r their portfolio managers developing two hotel properties in Hawaii that were o
wned by VMS and the Hemmeter Development Group. He accepted and while there he e
xecuted his Project Management duties as they related to the Westin Maui, the We
stin Kauai and reported status of construction for two Rock Resorts' properties
on Lanai.
* In late 1987 Joe returned from Hawaii to the mainland and went to work for Jon
es Lang LaSalle, at the time called LaSalle Partners, as Project Manager and in
1989 he was asked by the Hemmeter Development Group to join them as one of their
Project Managers. Joe accepted and entered the world of hotels and gaming. Betw
een 1989 and 2008 Joe performed duties of Senior Project Manager of D&C for Hem

to work as Project Managersfor the owners of the MGM Hotel and Casino and then
The Venetian, both in Las Vegas. In 2002, Station Casinos asked if Joe would rel
ocate once again but this time to northern California to develop a casino they w
ere financing for an Indian tribe.
* Joe accepted and in mid 2002 Joe was managing D&C of the casino called Thunde
r Valley in Lincoln, CA. Two years hence Joe was asked, as were all the other St
ations employees working at Thunder Valley, to leave the employ of Stations to t
ake a position as the Director of D&C for the United Auburn Indian Community, th
e casino owners. Joe again agreed and in 2006 after his 71st birthday decided to
retire. That was short lived and immediately after retiring Joe was asked by th
e casino General Manager to return as a consultant, part time. He agreed and con
tinued in that role until December 2008 when the expansion project was halted be
cause of the anticipated cost of the expansion and the known revenues. They just
weren't compatible and all consultant services were terminated.
* Within the entire span of Joe's working years there were three periods of time
when Joe didn't perform in the real estate development industry. The first was
when Joe served in the US Army ( 1954 - 1956 ), The second was when he went to
work for six months for US Gypsum selling drywall systems and the third was for
another six month period selling reprographic services and equipment to archite
cts and contractors.
Joe Imbriani is a responsible individual who is instilled with the work ethics o
f men of his era and energy that in no way reflects his years. He believes stron
gly in hard work and team work and has been blessed with intelligence and the co
mmon sense and wisdom to make his intelligence truly useful. He definitely knows
his way around a real estate development office, is strong in design, understan
ds and is knowledgeable about construction, is astute when it comes to negotiati
ng and preparing contract language and terms and is able to sell or solicit serv
ices. He's experienced just about everything there is to experience in the real
estate development world but remains convinced that there is more to learn from
and teach to his colleagues.
