* Revamped and reorganized the chart of accounts and statements to meet new indu
stry requirements for
a newly acquired division.
* Developed the chart of accounts and related procedures for the Oracle Operatin
g System, which accelerated the cash operating and accounting cycle.
* Conceived and mapped out log-on authorization to specific menu choices based o
n job classification, in order to validate Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

* Coordinated and balanced the entire lease portfolio from an internal system to
an outsourced system.
This allowed AEL Financial to grow by outsourcing collections, legal, tax compli
ance and other functions.
* Developed internal procedures and ancillary computer programs in conjunction w
ith the transfer of data, which dramatically streamlined operations.
* Originated loan compliance documentation procedures, which streamlined the pro
cess and allowed additional leases to be processed later in the same day.

* Solved the problem of sporadic Accounts Receivable collections by involving sa
lespeople in addition to the accounting staff in specific collection efforts. C
ollected over $5 million in past due invoices within six months, partly due to m
y direct involvement in large accounts. Reduced past due receivables to less
than 5% of total receivables, with a corresponding reduction in other categorie
s.
* Documented the entire procedures of the company during the design and implemen
tation of a new ERP system. Significantly improved the eventual utility of the
system.
* Coordinated and performed due diligence processes and oversaw all accounting e
ntries for the purchase
of our San Diego subsidiary.
