Green grass in January. In Erie, Pa., this is a phenomenon. The unusually mild weather has
brightened spirits and quelled winter blues all over campus. Much to the confusion of students’
eyes, the sun has even graced us with several appearances. I don’t know what Erie did to deserve
such special treatment, but we’re not complaining.

MSG has created its own Website to better serve the student body. The site comes in response
to concerns raised by students that MSG was out of touch with the Mercyhurst population. The

Most students have rejected the new Mercyhurst Webmail system. While the layout is more
contemporary, students are having trouble adjusting to the new system. Some students lost their
address books during the server switch and other e-mail servers are having trouble sending items.
Over time the kinks should be worked out and students should learn the ropes to better operate
the system.

The Ugly

Some students seem to confuse Briggs and Lewis for the Indy 500. These two streets are highly
populated with students walking to and from class. Several times cars have been spotted flying
up and down the street without regard to pedestrians. Not only is it extremely dangerous, it is
inconsiderate. For the safety of the student body, please refrain from exercising your lead foot
on residential streets. Remember, pedestrians have the right of way!

Parking on Wayne street is now a little more sparce. Students who became accustomed to park-
