5. Open the computer display; then stand the computer on its side and Reference (PSREF)
remove the hard drive by pulling the cover away from the computer.

6. Detach the cover from the hard drive.

7. Attach the cover to a new hard drive.

8. Insert the hard drive and its cover into the hard drive bay; then firmly
install them.

9. Close the computer display, and turn the computer over so that its
bottom side is up. Reinstall the screw.
10. Reinstall the battery.
11. Turn the computer over again. Connect the AC adapter and cables to
the computer.

Important information
Submit a request 1. Turn off the computer, or enter hibernation mode. Then disconnect
the AC adapter and all cables from the computer. ex. 2668-KHU

by sliding it to the left (1). Then unlock the one to the left of the
battery by sliding it to the left (2). Finally, holding the second latch in Lenovo Forums
the unlocked position, remove the battery (3).
