Most Recent Experience:
Operations/Reporting/Test support for Motorola Remote Software Download (RSD).
2008-2010: Supported and monitored RSD systems as a super user administrator in
test and production environments, developed Business Object reports, and utilize
d Excel to determine device software update performance. Tested Motorola's lates
t devices, communicated with development to align software versions with test de
vices, analyzed and documented system and device issues, trained contractors, re
gion admins, and developed process documentation. Worked and communicated with g
lobal teams from Russia, China, India, Brazil, etc
Historical Experience:
2006-2008: Joined Motorola Mobile devices as a member of the Premier Support tea
m of four to support the Motorola Q. Communicated professionally with many of th
e savviest users of the Motorola Q to help solve some of the most difficult Q is
sues. Worked with Right Now (RNT) CRM development to create a shared knowledge b
ase specifically set up to capture Motorola Q customer issues. Became an adminis
trator of RNT and created issue ID's and reports associated with the Motorola Q.
This helped us determine the impact of various Q issues. Our team also worked d
irectly with Microsoft engineers to support issues associated with the Motorola
Q and Microsoft's Small Business Exchange server. I personally discovered Micros
oft Works (contacts) was interfering with Microsoft Outlook (contacts), and dete
rmined a work-around solution. This issue affected many, many users trying to sy
nchronize their Motorola Q contacts with Microsoft Outlook. I helped Motorola re
cognize the seriousness of Microsoft ActiveSync issues with the Motorola Q.
2001-2006: Schaumburg and Arlington Heights, IL
As a Motorola Customer Service Representative, I was a member of a call-center t
eam which coordinated resources to troubleshoot Nextel service issues. Provided
operations support maintaining users on UNIX-based servers and worked with Avaya
to set up call center phones. Performed weekly server and PC backups, updated w
eb pages, and did troubleshooting for daily computer problems.
1999-2001: Motorola Rockford, IL
As electronics technician, I worked in a team environment to meet repair quotas
of iDEN 360 phones for Nextel.
1998-1999: Tooling Technologies Franklin, WI
As a CAD/CAM programmer, I developed machining tool paths from blue print to mac
hine tooling dies and developed instructions for machinists to run generated too
l paths.
1989-1998: Ehlert Tool New Berlin, WI
I started as a CNC machinist and quickly learned how to run just about every CNC
machine in the shop. I also learned how to use Microsoft Quick C to develop uti
lity programs which aided machinist with roughing out steel. Later, I became a C
AD/CAM programmer using Acucarv (based on plan and section views) and Computer V
ision (based on 3d Models) to develop machining tool paths from blue prints to m
achine tooling dies.
