To whom it may concern,

Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan was a pupil of SMK Sultan Badlishah from 2006 to 2010.Ushaanthini
d/o Puttharasan is a responsible and mature individual, and was the deputy head prefect in this
school in 2007.She was also the head of assembly department in 2010. She sets clear goals and works
towards them with a steady determination. She intently focuses on all that she does, striving to do
her very best. Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan shows concern to people around her, willingly guiding
those academically weaker than her. Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan is always courteous, well-
mannered and thoughtful. She is able to look beyond herself and in whatever she does, Ushaanthini
d/o Puttharasan always takes into account the needs and feelings of others.

2. On the academic front,Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan has consistently performed very well over
the years. She topped the level in Sejarah and Pendidikan Moral.She consistently scored straight A͛s
for each exam held in the school throughout the year of 2010.Eventually she also successfully
achieved straight A͛s in SPM 2010.c

3. In her Co-Curricular Activity (CCA), Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan served the Rukun Negara Club
with dedication. Her leadership capabilities were affirmed through her appointment as the treasurer
of the club in 2010. Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan was also appointed as the secretary for the school͛s
Sports Day Event in 2010.She participated in the Chemistry Quiz National Level.She also won the 1st
runner up prize for the School Band Competition State Level in 2008.Besides that,she also won the
Choral Speaking Competition District Level in 2006.Also,she was the champion of History Quiz
Competition in 2008.In addition,she also took part in the Drama In English Competition for two
consecutive years that was in 2008 and 2009.On top of that,she was the host of the BINTANG KECIL
programme held in the school in 2006 and 2008.She was announced as the best host for the
programme. As a bright pupil, she could analyse information quickly and rely on her resourcefulness
for problem solving or generating new ideas even in critical moments. Her atitude in thinking out of
the box makes her a very creative learner who exercises a lot of independence in her work.

4. Furthermore,Ushaanthini d/o Puttharsan had also attended the Program Latihan Khidmat
Negara (PLKN) Kumpulan 1,Siri 8/2011 successfully.She was appointed as the deputy head of Delta
Company there.She was also chosen to be the host for the cultural night event held in the
camp.Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan has high leadership skills and able to speak in public as she has
excellent communication skills.

5. Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan possesses the potential to pursue a tertiary education and excel
in it. Her excellent CCA and academic record bear witness to the amount of hard work she has given
out and is clearly a reflection of her mindset for excellence. With her maturity to handle difficult
situations and a willingness to learn and improve, she is fully capable of assuming greater
responsibilities in whatever she does.

In my position as a principal, I would like to strongly recommend Ushaanthini d/o Puttharasan for all
her future undertakings.
