* Restructuring of company competition policy to ensure a five percent price spr
ead with competition. This yielded a corporate markdown savings of $4.6 million
annually.
* Created new systems template to allow stores to electronically request item su
bmission for the "No Promo" trait. This resulted in $9.4 million additional sale
s and $249,000 in man-hour wage reductions of the Store Manager Hotline.
* Organized and tracked supplier cost savings initiatives that resulted in $40.4
million saving in FYE 2005.
* Worked with logistics on implementation of Network Remix initiatives and slot
distribution changes with our distribution centers.
* Participated in departmental planning meetings, modular reviews, and new item
launches.
* Creation and preparation of corporate meeting content and presentations for se
nior level executives.
* Development and measurement of corporate operations initiatives.

* Successfully opened over 30 new SuperCenters in the new trade territory of Pen
nsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Achieved first year profitability by gaining
market share. Provided company assets, training resources, and expertise to sup
port the company's aggressive growth initiatives in the region.
* Mentored and promoted over 310 associates into Management Training.
