Created and developed a new Music Industry course as part of a Recording Arts d
egree, improving students knowledge about copywriting, publishing, promoting, di
stributing, manufacturing, demographics, music law, songwriting, performing and
touring. Taught Jazz History, American History and American Geography in a combi
ned course.
Conducted academic advising of students with personal and behavioral problems.
Counseled students about scoring, interpreting, evaluation, interests, proficie
ncy, and other course administrated tests to approximately 250 students.
Coordinated academic field trips, maintained student records, while monitoring
student progress and advising students as needed.
Ensured that all required documents had been submitted by approximately 250 stu
dents in an accurate and timely fashion in the Financial Aid Process as well as
enrollment process.
