7SA522 SIEMENS RELAY TESTING PROCEDURE:

1. Zone Reach Test: Rio file conversion for testing with Freja to be taken from Digsi project setting
group-A. in Freja set Re/Rl and Xe/Xl as per the settings adopted in the relay. If Re/Rl & Xe/Xl is
equal set this value in Freja as one value in Ke and Kphi = 0, click on use standard. If Re/Rl & Xe/Xl
is not equal set individual values in Freja as Re/Rl & Xe/Xl and remove use standard.
2. PSB: In Freja keep Current constant (1A) and decrease the Voltage from 120%, PSB will operate.
3. Fuse Failure Voltage: Keep all 3 Voltage 63.5 V and reduce one by one as per setting (30 V).
4. Fuse Failure Current: Keep all 3 Voltage 63.5 V and reduce one ph Voltage to FFR operating value
(30 V) then create Current difference (zero seq. current) as per setting (0.1A).
5. Fuse Failure 3 PH: In Freja use sequence as stg-1 keep all 3 voltages healthy and current as per
setting current threshold (0.5 A). stg-2 voltage as minimum 3ph threshold (5V) and current same as
stg-1. switch on Freja instantaneous Fuse Fail operates and blocks the Distance zone.
6. Fuse Failure >10s: Give Zero seq voltage (one ph Voltage) and wait for 10 sec. keep Current 0
otherwise instantaneous Fuse failure will operate.
7. SOTF: Give Current as per SOTF O/C setting and Manual close input to be given along with fault.
