Since becoming a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, ser
ved hundreds of individual or corporate clients, generally with annual revenues
from $5 million to $500 million, advising them on a wide scope of transactional
matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, workouts, shareholder di
sputes, governance and joint ventures, interpreting federal & state regulations,
business law/drafting complex agreements, corporate due diligence investigation
s, environmental permitting & litigation, managing outside counsel & consultants

CAREER HISTORY
Holman Public Affairs, LLC, OWNER 2001-Present
Leveraging nearly 30 years of professional experience for this leadership role a
s owner. Duties include conducting corporate due diligence, M&A, crisis managem
ent and strategic communication programs, lobbying and government affairs, and b
usiness development for clients.
Fiore Group Companies, Inc., Chief Executive Officer, 1997-2000
Prior to joining Holman Public Affairs, was recruited as Chief Executive Officer
of Fiore Group Companies, Inc., solid waste Transporter and Transfer Companies
serving eleven New Jersey Counties to execute a company turnaround. Lead a work
force of more than 100, taking comprehensive executive responsibility for all le
gal, regulatory, governmental, financial, and business issues. Returned the com
panies to profitability, and resolved all extant compliance issues. Oversaw the
sale to Waste Management, Inc. in 1999.
Sills Cummis, et. al. & Riker Danzig, et. al. 1990-1997
Engaged in the general practice of law with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions
, interpreting federal & state regulations, business law/drafting complex agreem
ents, corporate due diligence investigations, environmental permitting & litigat
ion, managing outside counsel & consultants, government affairs, and corporate d
evelopment matters as counsel to major law firms, Sills Cummis and Riker Danzig.
Clients included Environmental firms, Elevator entities, real estate developers
, lending institutions, and publicly and privately held companies ranging in siz
e from the very small to large multinational Fortune 500 corporations. Served a
s counsel to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
New Jersey State Deputy Attorney General 1981-1983 & 1985-1990
Handled criminal and administrative enforcement issues as Chief of tax Fraud and
Chief of Solid Waste Unit of Antitrust Section, Division of Criminal Justice. A
s Director of New Jersey's Medicaid Fraud
Control Unit (MFCU), supervised the recovery of court-ordered restitutions, fine
s, civil settlements, and penalties.
Other key endeavors included, but were not limited to: (1) legislative proposals
affecting the Medicaid program presented to State legislators; (2) recommendati
ons made to respective State Medicaid agencies to effect positive change to Medi
caid policies and regulations; and (3) participation in joint case investigation
s/prosecutions with other State agencies, the Federal Government, and other Stat
e MFCUs; (4) Medicaid fraud control federal grant program management.

al corporate investigation for GPU Nuclear regarding employee allegations that i
t violated regulator commission rules during the clean up of the Three Mile Isla

ds including changes in the law, administrative decisions and judicial decisions

* Merge A Fiore & Sons, Ver-Tech Elevator Company, Inc and International Elevato
r Company, Inc., with Publicly Traded Companies.
* Provide counsel to management and project teams on matters of law and policy,
including project development, partnership opportunities, commercial contracts,
acquisitions, litigation, and regulatory and government affairs for A. Fiore & S
ons, PRWT Services, Strategic Energy, Cherokee Pharmaceutical, Sun Oil.
* Internal investigation for large public automobile retailer related to the rep
orting of vehicle sales to manufacturers. Investigation resolved matters to the
satisfaction of the company's external auditors.
* Conduct successful crisis management and strategic communications program with
Nuclear Regulatory Commission for GPU Nuclear following Three Mile Island Accid
ent.
* Conduct internal investigation for large public electronics manufacturer relat
ed to allegations made by federal government that certain of the company's produ
cts were exported in violation of federal law.
