Operated, maintained, and repaired all of the machinery that is relavent to
an unlimited horsepower power plant. Repaired and maintained drum and once-thru
type boilers,steam turbines, steam/ electric pumps, all related piping, soot blo
wers, various water systems, ash removal systems, and combustion turbine generat
ors. Analyzed boiler water, demineralizer water, and made chemical corrections t
o hold or to bring to proper peramaters. Also operated, repaired, and maintained
several types of combustion turbine generators (General Electric, Westinghouse)
. One of the combined cycle units consisted of eight Pratt & Whitney jet engines
in four pairs powering two 110MW generators. Performed data entry to initiate
predictive and preventive maintainence procedures, work orders, and inventory c
ontrol.

essure Boilers). Was assigned to a Navy U.D.T. Team for one year while deployed
