As this was a new facility the first start up took place in December 1979
Policy and procedures did not exist.
Operations Procedure development Team
Wrote and implemented procedures for safe operation of plant equipment
for Styrene, Ethel benzene and Utilities units. Operations Procedures were writ
ten in draft form and reviewed and approved by unit engineers prior to approval
by management. Operations procedures were then categorized and placed in unit li
braries where they were used for training and equipment start up references.
Authored operational reference books and presentations

Authored operational reference documentation that was used as a reference to ho

w equipment should look while in service, Valve positions, Burner identification
, DCS graphics and operational magnitudes.
Reference Documentation included Illustrated graphics for comparison in the fie
ld, (all was available in both hard copy and power point presentations.)
I created all documentation and graphics in the assigned four month time period
allotted by management which resulted in a promotion.
