Seek a position that utilizes my skills in the baking industry in the fields of
Food Safety and/or Quality Assurance.
My food safety experience is of twenty nine years in fresh and frozen bakeries a
nd the last five years as QA Manager for a bakery that produces Par-Bake Bread a
nd Frozen Dough.
During these years I worked for plants that needed to create all documentation r
egarding sanitation or quality and others where I just needed to maintain and im
prove the existing programs as per company policies.
Some of my responsibilities have been to lead Sanitation and Quality Assurance d
epartments and to maintain programs like Sanitation Programs, GMP, Water Quality
Program, Food Safety and Quality audits including some vendor audits, SMCS, SSO
P, Chemical Control, G&BP, Integrated Pest Management, BBP, Employee Training, C
ustomer Complaints (plant level), Product and Materials Hold & Release, HACCP, K
osher Compliance, Materials Receiving & Shipping, Document Control, Food Defense
, Recall and Mock Recalls, Calibrations programs, Visitors & Contractors Proced
ures, Allergen Programs, Vendor Monitoring program, Metal Detection, Traceabilit
y Program, Finish Product Conformance, Third Party Audits, etc. These programs
have been based on FDA, CFIA, AIB, GFSI/ Codex Alimentarius requirements.
The facilities I have worked for are routinely audited by AIB, Silliker, GFS, W.
E. Long, FDA and CFIA.
My bilingual skills (English/Spanish) give me the ability to perform efficiently
when a second language is required.
Other skills, proper use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and some knowledge
of SAP.
