ware Safety Standard (NASA-STD-8719.13B) and NASA Software Safety Guidebook (NAS
A-GB-1740.13-96) and the software was designed with safety in mind so its malfun
ction would not cause a hazard and will detect, control and mitigate any anomaly
to prevent a hazard and protect the crew by safing the vehicle and ground suppo
rt equipment (GSE).
* As a system engineer, developed specifications for the system design of the L
CS for launching the Ares rockets and to ensure each requirement is testable and
traceable throughout the entire development lifecycle phase via a Requirements
