, Florida, in July 2007. Released from service (early retirement) on 15 August 2
010.
August 2007 - August 15, 2010
January 2010- August 2010: Title: Senior Principal Systems Engineer
Selected to be part of company-wide Engineering Process Pool (EPP) team, worked
in the area of Engineering Process Management and Improvement. Analyzed, recomme
nded, and implemented changes to the Engineering process environment including t
hose related to traceability tools (i.e. - DOORS). Established and implemented n
ew metrics to help in improving project and organizational level technical plan
ning and management.
June 2008- January 2010: Title: Senior Principal Systems Engineer
Assigned as system engineer on system engineering staff for company-proprietary,
middle-east security system design, development, and implementation. Used DODAF
to develop and manage system infrastructure. Developed CONOPS for key system el
ements. Developed Use Cases to document key functional interfaces. Created Soft
ware Requirements Specifications for major IS system elements.
November 2007 June 2008: Title: Senior Principal Systems Engineer
Assigned as a technical contributor for a large-scale ( > $1 Billion USD), inter
national surveillance and security contract proposal. Managed a team 20 + system
s engineers developing, allocating and managing all technical engineering requir
ements. Designed various aspects of overall system including major aspects of IS
infrastructure, sensors, and command and control system.
Chief Engineer for design and development of the AN/BSG-1 Nuclear Tomahawk (UGM
109A) Missile Weapon Launching System. Responsible for all facets of technical d
ecisions and direction for both Raytheon and subcontractor team members. The res
ponsibilities included:
- Establishment for all aspects of security/COMSEC requirements
- Interfaced with National Security Agency (NSA) to establish and meet nuclear
security and safety requirements
- Interfaced with Sandia Labs to establish and meet nuclear security a
nd safety
requirements
- Provided technical guidance to 20+ hardware and software developers
- Provided technical guidance for system test program development and
conduct
- Provided technical guidance to 20+ subcontractors
- Created and led integration and test team

Base line requirements, conducting cost trade-offs, developing integration and
test approach.
