HOW TO APPLY:
To apply for María José
Foundation´s 4th International
Award for fine arts you should
have no more than 35 years old
and there is no restrictions
about residence o nationality.
WORK OF ART:
Each contestant will be able to
present a maximum of two
originals and own pieces in any
of the following disciplines:
painting, sculpture, photography
and engraving.
DELIVERY:
The delivery of works will be
realized from 12 April until 30
April 2010.
PRIZES:
The 4th International Award of
Plastic Arts Foundation Maria
Jose Jove is endowed with
27.000 Euros distributed in the
following concepts:
- 12.000 Euros in the only
concept of prize - acquisition.
The winning work of the contest
will be a part of the Collection
of Art;
- 15.000 Euros with a view to
bottom of acquisition of works
of the Foundation Maria Jose
Jove.
EXHIBITION AND CATALOGUE:
Of the whole of the received
works, the juror will realize a
selection of fifteen pieces,
which will be an object of an
exhibition during June,
organized by the Foundation
Maria Jose Jove in La Coruña
and whose inauguration will
coincide with the publication of
the work that have been
selected. In addition a catalogue
will be edited by fifteen selected
works.
RESULTS:
The juror will be made public
the results the same day of the
delivery of the prize, act that will
be on Thursday, the 27th of May,
2010, to the 12.30 in the
Foundation Maria Jose Jove.
