Hold direct P&L responsibility for all 3 entities. Direct the daily operations

Hy Cite provides branded product, distribution, marketing support, order process
ing, consumer financing, and warehousing services to the direct selling industry
. Hy Cite processes $300+ million in annual sales and carries $200 million in c
onsumer receivables. Additional office locations in Chicago, IL; Guadalajara, M
exico; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hy Cite conducts busines
s in 13 countries.
Began time at Hy Cite with a wholly owned subsidiary, Big Toe Soccer. Directed B
TS into the 2nd largest soccer specialty supplier in the US and led its sale to
our largest competitor in April of 2006. After the sale of BTS, joined Hy Cite
Corporate as its "Director of Special Projects". Reported to the CEO and Preside
nt during time in position, was a member of the Company's Executive Team, attend
ed corporate Board of Director meetings and remain a company shareholder.
Business & Product Line Development April 2006 - February 2009
Responsible for identifying, assessing and recommending new business opportuniti
es for the company. Evaluated whether the pursuit of new opportunities was best
achieved through acquisition, partnership or creation. Responsible for leading
the integration of the new business/product line into corporate infrastructure.
Highlights:
* InStore Corporation
Full P&L responsibility for this partnership with Meyer Corporation (Analon, Cir
culon, Farberware) to establish a new cookware line for Costco Wholesale Corpora
tion. Worked directly with the GMM of Costsco's non-foods division to secure st
ore space and to negotiate pricing and payment terms. Recruited and managed an
external sales force of 30+, and worked directly with the 8 Costco Regional Mana
gers to coordinate special events and on-premise marketing strategy and consumer
experience. InStore maintained an inventory position, handled all logistics an
d provided end customer service.
* Ocean Blue
Responsible for managing this new product line. Directed all personnel, managed
daily operations, performed product line budgeting and provided reporting to Hy
Cite leadership as a member of its Executive Team. Successfully led the integra
tion of the Ocean Blue product line into Hy Cite's corporate infrastructure.
Litigation Management (concurrent responsibility) February 2008 - January 2009
The Attorney General of the State of California accused Hy Cite of illegal sales
practices. Hy Cite sold $50+ million annually in California. Hy Cite secured o
utside legal representation and also employed a General Counsel/VP-Legal Affairs
.
My role was to coordinate the legal review of all marketing and product material
s, manage product testing in order to refute claims of misleading sales practice
s, assess Hy Cite's internal capability to comply with a potential settlement an
d provide financial analysis of a settlement versus a jury trial. Hy Cite settl
ed this matter out of court with no admission of wrongdoing and no limitations f
or selling into California.
General Manager - Big Toe Soccer December 2003 - April 2006
After being purchased out of bankruptcy in 2000, Big Toe Soccer launched in earl
y 2001 as a direct marketer of soccer apparel/equipment via a company produced c
atalog and e-commerce website. At the time of sale in April 2006, Big Toe Socce
r was the 2nd largest supplier of soccer specialty in the United States, having
added a direct sales force and retail store operations.
Full P&L responsibility for the Company. Developed significant sales growth, la
unched the company's first retail store, secured Nike as a strategic supplier, d
eveloped a direct sales force and launched the company's first private label app
arel and equipment product lines. Led the divestiture process to industry leader
Eurosport in April 2006.
Operations Manager - Big Toe Soccer November 2001 - December 2003
Directed the distribution, production, and finance departments. Developed these
divisions to support a 2002 sales growth of 30% as payroll, operating expenses
and bad debt all decreased in actual dollars. In January 2003, assumed responsi
bility for the Company's independent sales force, which represented 18% of Compa
ny revenue. Grew the independent sales network to 31% of Company revenue for 200
3 as total company revenue grew 23%.

Distribution Center Manager - Hy Cite Corporation April 2003 - November 2003


Asked to assume this concurrent responsibility in order to evaluate this struggl
ing division. Maintained production at 100% of goal for over $100 million in sa
les and determined both existing management and the facility were inadequate to
support Hy Cite Corporation. Removed existing management, led the hiring proces
s for a new manager and identified qualified infrastructure and system vendors t
o upgrade the facility.

Broadjam.com Madison, WI
Broadjam initiated operations in February 2000 as a provider of B2B and B2C inte
llectual property services to the entertainment and music industries. During tim
e in position, the Company developed a software solution and transactional websi
