ct schedule for each project. Additionally, authored Project Booklets for all d
esign/construction projects in the Redevelopment Program. The Booklets defined t
he Scope of Work, Budget, Schedule, Justification, Impact on Airport Operations,
and other project-relevant data. These Booklets served as the written contractu
al agreement between the City of Chicago, Dept of Aviation and the Operating Air
lines associated with the project, and were signed as legal documents by all par
ties to the contracts.
Y1983 - Y1999 Argonne National Laboratory- University of Chicago, Chicago, Prog
ram Manager - Natural Hazard Mitigation Program. Responsible for Design and Con
struction Upgrade of 225 Federal Buildings to meet building code requirements fo
r earthquake, tornado, wind, snow, and flood.
Project Manager - Responsible for Design and Construction of new Research Facili
ties and Rehabilitation of Existing Facilities. Responsibilities included prepar
ation of Project Schedules for each project. Facilities included a Biological Re
search Center, Computer Center, Receiving/Warehouse, Child Care Center, Office L
obbies, and numerous other projects. Most notable Project: An $800M Particle Acc
elerator Facility, One (1) mile in Diameter.
