Not even a hundred years have passed since that warning and
here in Revelations we read this incredible story with a fantastic
description of how “wondrous” this Jesus looked, on top of that
he is now the god of the dead again!! And the world swallowed
it, hook line and sinker! I will quote the description;
Revelations 1 verses 12 to 16- “I turned around to see who was
talking to me, and I saw seven gold lamp stands, and among
them there was what looked like a human being, wearing a
robe that reached to his feet, and a gold belt round his chest.
His hair was white as wool, or as snow, and his eyes blazed
like fire, his feet shone like brass that had been refined, and
polished, and his voice sounded like a roaring waterfall. He
held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two edged
sword came out of his mouth. His face was as bright as the
midday sun.”
Listed below, is the criteria the Scholars take as proof that Jesus
did fulfil the prediction!
1 He is from the bloodline of David; Isaiah 11: 1-12
Jesus was not impressed with this; Matthew 22: 41- 46
2 Jesus was born here on earth, and thus subject to the Lord
Almighty.
Jesus had his own idea concerning this; John 10: 1
3 Governing is on Jesus shoulders; Isaiah 9: 6- 7.
Jesus again had his own idea, he did not see himself as ruler
here on earth, he was talking about a heavenly spiritual kingdom
where those who understood his message would come to live as
his “friends”, and not as his “subjects”.
4 He sits on the throne as king; Isaiah 16: 5.
Jesus referred to this as being with his Father in “heaven”, and it
was not for him to say who will join him or sit next to him.
5 He is righteous; Jeremiah 23 and 33, in these verses Jesus will
rule and Israel will become prosperous.
Jesus came, the city of Jerusalem stayed under Roman siege
even long after he left.
6 He will rule righteously, Jeremiah 23-33, the prediction was
that he would rule in this manner.
Jesus came and preached another truth, getting him self killed,
and the Israelite nation almost wiped out because of the message
he spread. Caiaphas had to intervene harshly to save them. John:
12- 45 to 52.
7 He rebuilt the temple: Zechariah 6: 12-13 Jesus found a
temple there when he came.
Jesus reference to Temple; meant he would rise from the dead
after they physically killed him!
8 He will be a priest king forever from the line of Melchizedek;
Psalms 110.
Once again; Melchizedek was looked on as almost a godly
figure placing him among those Jesus mentioned in John 10: 7-
10, Jesus made it clear he was no part of that.
9 He sits on the right hand of Yahweh or the Lord Almighty;
Psalms 110.
Jesus mentioned this in Matthew 22: 41- 46, but did he accept it,
the statement in John is in direct conflict to the one in Matthew,
was he lying in Matthew to buy time, or was the words added to
try and confirm him as the prediction? He also said in John
Chapter 5 verse 37; “And the Father, who sent me, also
testifies on my behalf. You have never heard his voice or seen
his face.” An indication that the people do not know his father
and that in itself, tells us that the Lord Almighty is not the
Father Jesus speaks about.
10 He is riding on a donkey preaching peace; Zechariah: 9:9-10.
Why then did Jesus say in Matthew 10: 34- 36, “do not think
that I have come to bring peace to the world? No, I did not
come to bring peace, but a sword. I came to set sons against
their fathers, daughters against their mothers, daughters-in-
law against their mothers-in-law; a man’s worst enemies will
be the members of his own family”.
That was from the King James Version, and verse 15 means that
whoever will attack you, it will not be on my command, but they
will in their efforts fall over you, which is the same as the
meaning from the Afrikaans Bible. This will happen due to what
is ordered in verse 2. In verse 2 this Lord Almighty tells the
Israelite nation to immigrate into every nation on earth, to
intermarry, to become so mixed with the rest of humanity
should they be attacked due to their religion their attackers will
literally fall over them. Do we need to be surprised, it happened,
the Jewish population outside of Israel is proof of this
command; they lived up to every word spoken in verse 2.
