FROM FATHER RICH

School is out. At the Graduation Mass and at school’s final Mass I thanked all of you, dear parish-
ioners for your great support for St. Albert the Great School. I want you to know how much I ap-
preciate it and please, keep our school children in your prayers, especially during their vacation.
I am sure you have seen for the last couple of days the heavy construction equipment around
our church. Don’t worry, we are not tearing anything down, we just sealed the foundation and the
church wall because we noticed that the water was getting to the Rogers Hall through that wall.
We wanted to make sure that the water will not destroy our newly remodeled bathrooms.
Women's bathroom is almost done and it can be used and man’s bathroom is still under construc-
tion. When we are done, they will really look nice and serve us well, especially with the conven-
ience of the handicap accessibility.
I want to thank school parents for planting flowers at the school side by the statue of St. Francis
and our parishioners who planted flowers by the Old Church off the State Road.
Thank you for your great response to the Annual Catholic Appeal. Remember that you should
send all your payments directly to the address that you’ll find on the monthly statements. You
will see below the recent numbers showing you our goal, how much we pledged and how much we
paid so far. It is already a great success and you made us proud again.
Next weekend June 11-12 we will thank the generation of priests we needed for the joys and
sorrows in our lives. Many are still here for us, others wish they could be. Let us pray for the re-
tired priests who need our support now. The only annual Collection for Retired Priests of the
Archdiocese of Chicago will be taken as the second collection next weekend. We thank you in ad-
vance for your generosity and love for priests.
God Bless, Fr. Rich

An exciting fundraiser based on professional baseball!

BaseballMania last 17 weeks of the professional baseball season. A ticket’s value in any given week is
determined by the combined scores of the three baseball teams listed on the back of the ticket for that
week. On the back of each BaseballMania ticket, you will see a different set of 3 teams for each of the
17 weeks of the fundraiser.
Prizes are awarded each week of the fundraiser to the top 4 highest scoring tickets and the 2 lowest scor-
ing tickets. At the end of the season, tickets with the most and fewest combined points for all weeks win
grand prizes. See the front of your ticket for details on prize money amounts. Winners will be notified by
the participating organization that distributed the BaseballMania ticket.
All ticket stubs must be turned in by June 5, 2011 to St. Albert the Great School or rectory.

CHRIST
OD KS. RYSZARDA
wrócił do Ojca.
nieobecny.
W ostatnim czasie dokonaliśmy prac remontowych zabezpieczając ścianę kościoła i fundamenty
przed przeciekiem wody którą zauważyliśmy w naszej sali parafialnej pod kościołem. Było to
konieczne gdyż jesteśmy w trakcie generalnego remontu łazienek w sali parafialnej i nie możemy
dopuścić aby jakikolwiek przeciek zniszczył nowo położone płytki na wszystkich ścianach. Damska
Archidiecezji i naszej parafii.

Do tańca przygrywać będzie zespół “Millenium”. Dochód przeznaczony jest na remont plebanii
w Skrzypnym. Bilety są w cenie $20.00 - dorośli, $10.00 - dzieci. Można je już nabywać po Mszy Świętej.
