RESIDENT PROFILE
Marie and Bill Albert
“...have met lots of friends, enjoy the quiet of the desert...”

Marie and Bill Albert met at F. W. Woolworth’s 5 & 10 cent store in 1956 and married on
June 24, 1961.

Bill and Marie moved from Basking Ridge, New Jersey to Flagstaff, Arizona in 1972 with their three children. In 1974, they
moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Bill is originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania and Marie is from Plainfield, New Jersey.

Marie worked in a bank for six years and then became a stay-at-home mom. She went back to work in 1989 as a
receptionist (for nine and one-half years) before retiring. Bill retired as a sales representative from RJ Reynolds Tobacco in
1990.

Bill has many talents, especially when it comes to cooking and baking. He is of German descent and enjoys creating German
dishes. He also loves to coupon shop and was named the “Coupon King” by the Arizona Republic newspaper.

Marie, of Italian descent, is now a homemaker and loves to bake pies and Italian biscotti. She also loves casino gambling.
Bill and Marie always enjoy having family and friends visit their home for dinner, dessert and conversation.

While exploring new residential developments in the Valley, Bill found the sign for Sun City Festival. In November 2007, they
bought their home and moved here. They have met many friends, enjoy the quiet of the desert and all the activities offered
in our wonderful community.

This year they they look forward to spending a week celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in Rocky Point, Mexico
with their family.

a weight perspective, 16 ounces of water should be consumed for every pound
of body weight lost during exercise. A simple rule of thumb is to produce clear,

Great ways to avoid heat illness are to keep time spent outdoors to the cooler peri-

colors will reflect heat. Breathable fabric helps perspiration evaporate from the
skin more quickly and easily.
